Awesome job on your sweater. Love the colors you used. Our winter has not been a snowy one .
Ravelry is fine or your website forum is too. I think it comes down to which one is better for you to use the way you want to.
I know ...I am so helpful. lol Thanks for sharing your time.

I just discovered your podcast and so admire your lovely pullover. Regarding the partially undyed yarn, I think your best bet IS to go to the store where it was purchased. Then the distributor who sold your LYS the product has more clout with the manufacturer. You are smart to cake up your remaining skeins in case the problem also exists with them. Then you can let the distributor know that you have shown the problem in your podcast and will also expose their response on the podcast. Your experience is so drastic. I have never had that happen. But even if you did not have a podcast, the distributor is naturally inclined to help the LYS ,a customer, and the LYS is naturally disposed to help you, the customer.
I once almost finished a sweater in a bright green, but came upon a lot of knots. I stopped and went through the whole ball and found 10 knots. The manufacturer explained that they had moved their production from Turkey to Romania, and sure enough the label read "Turkey". I told the manufacturer that I would not publish their name in conjunction with the problem because they had solved the problem and I did not want any more of the yarn.
Yarn that you used to like which was moved to "China" can also be a problem. One of my knitting friends needed a skein of a brand that moved to China and would not use that skein from China because the quality was so different. I had an older skein made in USA or Europe and she would pay for it (I gave it to her).
I have returned yarn before to an LYS and got replacement yarn back. The problem was that even though the labels stated they were all from the same dye lot, one hank was very badly faded. That was about 10 years ago.
Best wishes for the podcast; you are off to a great start!

Thank you so much for watching Susan! The conclusion to the yarn was that the other balls (same dye lot) was absolutely fine! I'm very confused by the whole thing.

Out of curiosity, I'd like to know if the label says "China" or "Turkey". The blanket turned out beautiful.

Produced in Turkey. Thank you the dog seems to have claimed the blanket tonight!
