Wow, for someone who is getting married soon, this is gold. I've been so scared of abandonment and rejection, I would go into a state of fight and flight when away for long periods from him due to past events. It's the scariest thing I've had to go through opening up about that and I do NOT want to mess this up. Thank you Lisa. So timely! xx
He caused me anxiety, depression, panic attack, claustrophobia and nervous breakdown , verbally, mentally, emotionally and financially abusive. After 24 years, I had no idea he was narcissistic.. yes, pathological liar excessive shopping, not sticking up for me and the beat goes on. He bit the hand that feeds him. There’s no turning back.
I agree You and your husband began together. Kids will grow up .Cultivate your marriage and tome together or else you become like roommate's. Prioritize time for each other and for yourselves. Spouse first then kids
What if your husband doesnt want couple time. What if he refused your request and the pastor's request and he thinks now thay we are parents thats our only priority.
He has the priorities wrong. It’s God .. your marriage .. your children and the rest comes after. There’s an order. How can you be good parents without a good relationship with eachother ? The Bible clearly says that marriage is a reflection of Christ and the church.. you are two love one another and summit to one another. Read the new testemnt the whole thing it’s talks about husbands and wives a lot.
@Sara, keep on praying for your husband, and in the meantime, try to prioritize your wellbeing (take care of your temple, your body, your mind, soul, spirit, and even little things that bring you joy). Don’t lose yourself in the process.🌹🤍🕊️🙏✝️
