@@obeseperson That sounds like double jeopardy which is illegal technically. That judge should be fired. I don't condon the behavior but I respect our Constitution to it's finest! Even the rapist and murder's still fall under the US Constitution.

Double jeopardy says that you can't be charged for the same crime twice (a law I have many problems with since I believe there should be a retrial if new and absolutely conclusive evidence of guilt is discovered). Being retried for the same crime that you're already serving time for is not double jeopardy, especially when it's just a change of sentencing and not a full retrial like this one was.
Drug smuggling, people smuggling, receiving stolen goods, drinking and driving, what next will some people get up to? The law wasn’t made for nothing, but some people don’t seem to understand, instead of being imprisoned or killed it’s better to obey the law.
