Sutton Foster is the most perfect and complete artist I have ever seen!
yuck

Without a doubt I invite you to continue watching more musical theater, you will see that you will find more gems like Sutton from both the present and the past.
@@Cris-db8iy I'm obsessed by Musical Theater, I admire lots of artists, however I still believe Sutton is the most talented person I've ever seen.
I ADORE her but shes phoning it in.
How has Sutton Foster not aged since she was Star-to-Be?!
Exactly!!
She has aged , it’s slightly noticeable
To go through about 10 years and still be on top of your game now that’s talent
Saw this production the other day and it was electric. Sutton is a complete star. So effortless and consistent. The whole cast were incredible.
The color palette of this whole production is stunning. Costumes, lighting, sets, everything - so gorgeous.
I was lucky enough to see this on the 24th and it was amazing. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun on stage and Sutton Foster was incredible.
Wait, she went back and did the revival role again?! That's so cool! It's like time hasn't passed since the last production.
@JMclawman511 Megan Mullally had to drop out.
At 46 she was still absolutely phenomenal in the role, and had the same stamina she had in her 30s, it was a privilege to see her in this incredible production!
I had the great pleasure of seeing Sutton bring this role to life on Broadway, and it is wonderful to see her in this role again.
My favorite musical EVER!
Saw her next to last performance two days ago. She. Is. Phenomenal. Sad I missed her in this show on Broadway. Jumped at the chance to see her do it in London. Flew from the US for a 2 day trip. Seeing her in Anything Goes (song) and Blow, Gabriel, Blow was worth the entire trip. I sat there in awe. And her chemistry with Robert Landsay was some of the best I’ve ever seen on stage.
Sutton foster is amazing and talented she’s a Broadway queen 👑✨🦋
Was an absolutely privilege to see this production last autumn, Sutton is a huge star, and everyone else in the company were simply spectacular!
she won the Tony Award for Best Actress in 2011... somebody PLS GIVE HER the Olivier Award!!! LOL
I went to watch this today. They were brilliant and got a standing ovation
Sutton is INCREDIBLE😍😍😍😍😍
This is amazing choreography! I would love to see this show when it comes to the U.S.!
It was on Broadway 10 years ago
Remember playing piano for this music in High school. Such fun memories.
Going to see this with my mum looks amazing
Edit: It was absolutely fantastic glad I got the chance to see it
One terrific production at the Barbican.
Saw the touring version in Bristol with Kerry Ellis staring (plus Bonnie Langford, Denis Lawson & Simon Callow). I was completely blown away, the scene that starts these clips one of the best I have ever scene in a musical.
the best show i have seen in 30 years cannot wait for it to go on tour again
I guess we've travelled back In time to 2011 guys lol
Amazing! Would love to see it in person 💜
Saw this today brilliant performances from Robert Lindsay, Sutton Forster.
I can't believe I missed this , they even showed it on TV and I missed that too! FML
Love this energy
absolutely phenomenal, wow what a talented lady
AHHHHH this looks so good!!!

Sutton is simply sensational
God I love Sutton Foster ❤❤
The West End said ✨ diversity✨ !!
Its badddd lol
Of the ensemble of 28, seven are POC as you frame the comment unless you believe Asians ‘don’t matter’. And Gary Wilmot is a lead player. The POC population of Britain is 6 per cent. A bit like going to Cornwall and saying there are too many whites there. (PS. It’s because post war immigration from India and West Indies did not bring commonwealth citizens to that part of the country as there was no industry. There has only been fishing and farming there for centuries and then tourism and 19th Century tin mining)
The irony of the fact this is "anything goes" is too rich. Never forget the meaning of the art you love.
Rivet city is having a party
Was that a rehearsal? as Anything goes felt really flat....
Sutton is marking it... That's not her full out ...
@@emmawagner5561 PHONING IT IN! cmon Sutton.
It was a press call for the media - so no audience!
@@davidgoldstein7432 you are an ass. Sutton may be the greatest MT performer in the world. If she was marking, which is something opera singers do all the time, it is to save her voice for an actual performance, but also all of the singers sounded super quiet an the orchestra super loud, so the video may be picking up more of the orchestra than the singers based on recording equipment placement, OR none of the singers were micd perhaps?
@@emmawagner5561 That's exactly what I thought. Noticeably the hand movements that didn't have that "snap" and she was saving energy (and vocals) for an actual live performance. Regardless, she's awesome!
is there a cast recording for this version?
yes The Broadway revival from 2011 has a recording & it's OUTSTANDING.
@@mmbr01rrf thank you will seek that out
@@mmbr01rrf Thank you for signpost to this version that I’ve now bought it I agree it is a nice version my only criticism is I think some of the songs a little bit slow in tempo not every song I just a few however it’s beautifully recorded
Not sure what some here in the comments were expecting. It's been 10 years, not 50.
Georgie?
8 minutes of tapping
I l i v e d !
Why did they remove the two Asian characters from this scene?
Is there an Anything Goes proshot? Preferably with Sutton, but is there one at all?
@@robdendulk2277 Thank you!
Baby there is literally one POC In the first song !!
Surprisingly a lot of leads and female ensemble are POC!
yeah, f*ck the 1 token. This isn't 1990 baby. Anything Goes? Everything's Gone.
@@josephottavi-perez8203 period!!!!
Is Joel gray returning as moonface Martin? He's a broadway veteran and legend
No because this is a west end production
Hellothere682 I'm looking at the video description, it doesn't match up with your comment.
@@benjamincollins8559 the Barbican theatre is in the west end
@@benjamincollins8559 I also saw the show in real life
@@benjamincollins8559 what’s on stage is also a UA-cam channel specifically for west end shows
Hmm, "Anything Goes" was stunning. "You're The Top" was meh in a big way.
Sorry folks this clip is unfortunately fake , lifted in part from the awesome Tony Awards performance a number of years back.
Why are there no POC? This is disgusting. Yuck
Check the cast list! It’s so diverse! They just don’t happen to have those people in these two numbers 🙄
@@scottstorey7543 idc! This scene is NOT representative. I’m not gonna sit down and shut up bc there’s one token here and there. Let’s talk equality! Out of the 15-20 people in this number, why don’t I see POC? They missed on this one.
@@KyleSpn if you’re gonna ignore the diverse cast list, that’s on you. Quit complaining about diversity, when there’s plenty in this show.
@@jackdonohue7893 I know the cast, thank you. this is the biggest scene and moment of the show… how many POC do you see in this scene? How many non-POC do you see? Shut up and just say you’re racist and don’t care about representation… you’re probably an insurrectionist too LOL 🗑
@@jackdonohue7893 go sit on piers Morgan’s lap
I thought she was going to be in the music man? Did that shit show get canned ? And beetlejuice is back? Or??
The sort of show luvvies and theatrical types love but which makes everyone else cringe.
Those costumes are *awful* particularly that dress Sutton wears in You’re The Top.
