Sure, except at no point in the video does he use it as a brace. He uses the part labeled 'not a stock' as a stock and he holds the firearm by the fore-grip which says 'not a grip'.
This is exactly the kind of thing which is going to get real pistol braces banned.

Did the US have a pistol that could be shouldered at the time? I know Germany had the Mauser Broomhandle that could take a wood stock, but I haven't seen a similar weapon on the US side...

I believe we did (although mind you I’m going off of a video game), it was the M1911 with a skeleton stock and a Thompson style forgrip

(Update 4/5/21): This is so awesome I added suppressor hight sights and a RMR to my G17 and also got complete set ups for my G35 & G21 they make awesome home defense guns
With an optic? Because 1. I don’t think glock sights are quite that good 2. I don’t think a Glock 17 is a 1 moa gun unless it’s custom built or something

@@reaganriddle1583 1) Glock sights are just as capable as any other iron sights on the market. 2) A gun being a 1 moa gun has nothing to do with the shooter or sights. It is an inherent quality of the gun. If you rigidly mount the gun in a rest or test jig, that is repeatable, that gives the accuracy of the gun. So a 1 moa gun is a 1 moa gun regardless of the sights and shooter.

I love my keltec. It’s the perfect companion for my shield. I know they get a lot of slack but it’s super fun to shoot and it’ll even run steel fairly consistently. For the price point you really can’t ask for better set up right outta the box.
@@retrojunkie8434 truth, it's a nice little set up and I love my shield and that comparability as well. In some ways, I think that this brace system can almost replace a PCC though. It's something interesting to think about and maybe try out one day
Joe Garofalo II yeah I’ve been wanting one for awhile now. I know that the older ones have been on the market for a minute but neither of the good ranges in my area have one to rent. I always like to actually use stuff before I drop the cash for it. Plus it would definitely give me a reason to break out the Glock again. Since I’ve got my shield a few years ago it’s kind of been on the back burner.

I’ve got two guns, a semiautomatic rifle (.223 remington) and a revolver (.38 special) but if I were to only have one gun, I think I’d go with a semiautomatic pistol (.45 auto) with a flux brace, best of both worlds, handgun-like concealment and long gun-like accuracy

For me outside US, whole shenanigans about SBR, stocks and pistol braces are simply hilarious 🤣
I guess this applies to all calibers you have available, but in your opinion, can you quantify how much of an impact the following have on target aquistion and getting back on target after a shot when using;
A)a traditional pistol grip
B)stock/brace
C) a sling
D) a second point of contact [such as a front magazine well, slightly longer barrel, or fore grip]
E) a surpressor
F) Automatic
I guess anything like "Adding a stock makes it twice as easy with this caliber. Using a sling is only a little easier."
Or on a 1-20 scale, (20 being a .22" rifle, and 1 being a the largest caliber pistol you've ever fired) "I give this caliber about an A)7 B) 10 C)12.... "

I have the flux brace on my glock 40 with the flash mag , got the best of both worlds 10mm and conversion barrel in 9by25 Dillon it’s such a pleasure to shoot with all that power , with a Rmr red dot, amazing

I’ve recently set up a Keltec CP33 with a rehv arms pic adapter and an fs1913 folding brace. I reversed the folder so it’s now right side folding. Topped it with a holosun 507c and it fits nicely at my side in a C+G holster(which is cut for a 22 can).

If they made these for the Glock 20/21/40, I would sooooooooo buy one in a second. Alas, this thing came out RIGHT after I bought the CAA Roni MCK 2.0 for my G19. The MCK's easier to mate with the G19 than the Flux, since it doesn't require tools, but it's bigger, heavier, bulkier, and doesn't stow away as easily in a hiding spot for home or transport.
I watched this video and promptly purchased everything, just waiting on the holster 🤣

@@Lionheart1188 Great question! Honestly, it's really just a personal preference. I prefer the M&Ps and XDs based on the feel, triggers and looks as well. I know that Glock is probably more reliable than both of those and parts/after market parts and mags are a lot cheaper and more available. It's also just kinda fun to be a "hipster" and go against the grain sometimes I guess lol. However, I do actually plan on buying at least a few Glocks in the future for the obvious reasons why people love them. They are the ultimate utilitarian handgun and there's a lot of value in that. I actually shoot quite well with them too
