So, not sure why some places have these listed as V7 and others as V1, but it appears to be the same New Balance shoes.
Alright, if you are looking for lightweight hiking shoes that are also comfortable and feature a Vibram outsole, these New Balance Fresh Foam shoes are a pretty good option.
These New Balance trail shoes did make to online lists like most comfortable hiking shoes and best hiking shoes 2022.

I love mine. Bought the off white on white. Planning on grabbing another pair in black to wear for my everyday use. Light weight, comfortble, stable.

Speaking of waiting for a discount, fast forward 1.5 years after this video, and they're selling at Joe's NBO for only $50/ea as part of a two-for-$100 promo. At less than a third of the original price, these seem like a great pickup.
Agreed - these are an absolute bargain at the moment. The reason they didn't sell well is the same reason I think they're perfect - They don't do anything as well as other specialty shoes on the market, but these are THE perfect all-rounder. Not a running shoe, but perfectly comfortable to run short distances in. Not a hiking shoe, but fine for day/ summer hikes. Not a fashion statement, but tidy enough to wear out casually with jeans. If I was going backpacking, and needed a pair that could take on pretty much anything - I'd pack these.

is they based on hierro v7? i have them cool light shoes for trail waking
in v7 front rock bumper is not soft
Yea, it kind of almost looks like exactly the V7, but not too sure, perhaps there are some differences after all. I'll try to get V7 for a review.

Any good brand hiking shoe will do just fine. Solomon, adidas, any. It depends upon what you feel comfortable

Too effing narrow.Uncomfortable.Unvover sewing inside that make my feet suffer.Sweatng feet very quickly.Will have to go to a local shoemaker to try stretch them. Terrible mistake buying them
