Amazing content mate, subscribed! Found your channel by clicking through the top players on BGA and saw your profile description, so it works! I'm always amazed how some people can appear to be amazing at every game they play, how do you do it?
I believe some skills overlap between games which means if you're good at one, you're most likely good at others too. Sam is also a fast learner and can pick up winning strategies, optimal sequences of moves and good combos on his first play at a game. Then he enjoys to climb the ladder and when he commits to a game, he's gonna play it a lot for a while.
Thank you! It's certainly not every game, I tend to gravitate towards playing games I am good at. I enjoy games if I have an understanding of how they work, and if I understand them I'll probably play well. And yes, a lot of games have an overlap in skills required. For Sale and Nidavellir have similar bidding mechanics, Space Base and Glow similar probability calculations, etc.
This was excellent!
how is this only 16 subscribers! That is my favorite number... but still not reflective of the powerful content these strategy guides are producing!
Thanks for the lovely words! I don't ever expect to become that big, but I enjoy making the videos and if they can help people that's great.
