Thank you SO much Yong. I really love the way you always show your reference photo so we can see what we are aiming for and your interpretation of it. Your paint mixing is also always visible. So helpful. And your explanations of exactly what you are doing and your thought process is so thorough. You are an excellent teacher. Your art is beautiful. So relaxing to watch you. Relaxing is critical to creativeness.
Спасибо. Мальвы-цветы моего детства. Они росли у нас повсюду, мы прятались в этих цветах и смотрели сквозь листву на солнце.Вы чудесный художник с дольшой душой! Вдохновляете на работу❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I painted with watercolors while in college in the late 90s and then stopped once out of college. Now, nearly 25 yrs later, I have picked up the brush to begin again. You showed techniques I remember learning in college in this tutorial and it brought back such lovely memories. I look forward to watching more of your videos. You have a new fan!
Oh no......the 90's were 25 years ago??? Yikes! I hope your journey with painting continues. This artist always amazes me. The water and paint behave so well for him.
Love to watch how confidently you wield a large brush even on the most delicate subjects. You have greatly enhanced my enjoyment of watercolor. It is a great go-to medium that is easy to use in rather cramped quarters or to take outdoors, and that requires a minimum of tools Your use of a small pallet is also an eye opener!
Your background is fantastic!! I also love how you study the flower shape and create it on paper without drawing every detail. Such an inspiring video, thank you for helping us learn new techniques!!
Recién hoy he descubierto sus tutoriales. Quería felicitarlo y por sobre todo agradecer que nos transmita sus conocimientos . Un saludo desde Argentina.
Stunning! I’ve tried plein air schetching using watercolor. I tried the delicate flowers like flowering maple blossoms. I can’t get that beautiful shading like you do, but I’ve learned from this video.
Thank you thank you so so much for sharing this super trick 😊😊😊😊 i got courage to do more paintings ... this idea will enhance my realistic paintings magnificently... thank you buddy from bottom of my heart ..

The reason I. Ask is because I am trying to use the brush and it keeps splitting .
Thanks Carmen for the question, and appreciate Citi Girl for answering, you did better than I would.
Mines came out soooo bad! Couldn't get the colors right.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
I want to know how to treat the wide brush that he uses. He showed us how but cannot find the video. Thank you
I remember he cleaned it and then used a purple glue stick to straighten the bristles. But that's all I remember. Lol. I haven't tried it yet.
Carmen, the tip is in this video ua-cam.com/video/IaTEqwQAp7g/v-deo.html
In the beginning, in the red well, it looks like a red haired person..I’m always seeing stuff on the artists’ palettes..too much imagination I guess!
Or maybe an elderly Red Riding Hood..lol..
