Holy cow, what a killer tone!
Thank you. Using the Quad Cortex
Great lesson. Sweet Kiesel. Facelift was one of the best albums of the grunge era. Cantrell is a master at taking simple ingredients and turning them into grunge-metal gold.
Couldn't agree more!
My favourite album from my favourite band! Sunshine is also very fun to play.
Agreed!
Killer song and lesson! Thanks Greg 🤘🏻🔥
This is amazing- love this song - thank you sir!
Huge fan of AIC! Thanks, I’ll be back for more.
One of the band from golden days.. ❤️
Definitely must know song!! really killer, I love AIC
Epic lesson, Greg! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks my dude!
One of my favorite AIC songs. Like so many other Jerry riffs, this one smacks your face right out of the gate and gets that head bobbin
Killer lesson!
Thank you
Great choice for a lesson!!
Thank you!
Always loved this song.
So dope thanks
As far as requests for Cantrell solo lessons -- the two you mentioned are really fun to play (Man in the Box and Then Bones). Would you please consider Private Hell, and Satisfy (off his first solo album)? Especially the live version of the latter Cantrell played at the Fillmore. It's available on UA-cam, but I'm missing a piece when the solo goes to halftime.
Thanks for all of these great AIC and Tool lessons!
For sure a AIC solo vid or video collection!
I learnt this a while ago. It is a kick ass song.
You asked for requests - this got me right back into appreciating the album - Real Thing would be amazing. Don’t forget to include the sexual chocolate line at the end. Really ties it all together. Seriously though the tone? The hard blueseyness of it? I just dig it and wanted to toss the request out there. Thanks!
Great lesson
appreciate it!
THANK FUCKKKKKK SOMEONE IS FINALLY DOING A LESSON FAV AIC SONG
Great taste!
Thank you!
Awesome man, was looking for tutorials for this song for a while and ended up finding it by luck looking at your profile after watching some Tool vid. I'd suggest you to put the song title in the video title so the search engine shows it.
Played slowly, you can definitely hear House's of the Holy by Led Zeppelin
Thx. I love AiC
I do too
🔥

Jerry is a God
Are we specifically talking about Facelift here? Junk Head is definitely in my top 5 but it's from Dirt. Also Fear The Voices would be great.
**Coughs** SOAD **coughs** lessons
Are we specifically talking about Facelift here because Junk Head is definitely in my top 5 but it's from Dirt. Also Fear The Voices would be great.
No but Put You Down is on that album. Dirt is a fantastic album.
👍🇨🇮
Great album just a shame it influenced a lot of crappy radio roxk of the late 90s to mid 2000s
