I really needed this reminder. I’ve been having issues in my marriage with forgiveness and being let down on certain things. Literally just yesterday was listening to a worship song that said “your love is never changing, your love stays the same.” That gave me comfort but also made me sad and feel guilty for wanting that in my marriage. After watching this video I’m reminded that only through Jesus can we have this overflow of security, love and “perfect harmony.” I’m so grateful I have Him and that he promises this to us. 🙏🩵

this is so helpful! I didn't grow up a believer and I'm just starting my faith journey. I'm in alcoholics anonymous, which is a faith based way of recovery, so that's what is bringing me to my knees. I used to watch your Faith Friday videos and hoped one day I could find my way.

& you are so right about peace in hard circumstances!! He is our firm foundation, when life hits us hard we can be unshakable because he is our rock. I used to not understand this either & thought a lot of christian’s just had it better than me & never felt pain like I had. Not true!! That’s a lie from the enemy. They had jesus & knew how to apply scripture. & even if I had had it harder..God works to bring good for those who love him. Another verse that has carried me . ❤️

Thank you for your honesty and I seriously feel like we have the same life sometimes! I am back on fire or our Lord. I also had a dry season but I went through some trials, one after another and I feel so blessed for that. Through it all I hung on to our Heavenly Father and I am back on fire for him. I want to be closer and closer to him. It’s been tough to read my bible these past months but I’m back! I love my bible. Gods word is our cheat cheat and we sometimes just go on without it. We must love complicating our lives. lol

I love John 14:27. I love the whole chapter. My word for the year is Vine. I did not choose it. I just kept hearing it in my spirit beginning of the year. The Lord wants me to stay connected to Him. I sometimes forget that He is with me and loves me more than I can comprehend. But He is also holy and requires us to be holy like He is. So knowing that makes me feel less than sometimes. Because I am more aware of my sin than His Grace and Righteousness. We've got to know the Truth of the Word more than what we feel!

Celeste, I absolutely love you. I feel like you and I live very similar lives although I have no idea what you go through but every time you share a snippet I feel so seen and understood and you’ve encouraged me in a way that you’ll only ever know in heaven. It’s encouraging to see what the Lord is doing in you and it gives me hope that I can find consistent joy in life.

Hi. What would be some reasons to leave a toxic situation? I just want to make sure I'm not being earthly minded. I always thought this way about accepting everyone no matter how toxic. I still love and extend grace. However, when is setting boundaries needed for your mental health? Are there any limits even as a Christian? When to let go and let God? Are we told to stay around toxic individuals that cause more mental stress or is it okay to pray for them but also walk away.
