This is a cover of Jason Isbell's song. It's a song he wrote after he got sober to his wife. The best version is Jason standing on stage with just a guitar singing to his wife playing the voilin. I believe this song won a lot of awards and Jason is considered one of the best songwriters right now. Morgan received a lot of backlash from fans when he started covering this song at concerts. It didn't stop until Jason publicly gave Morgan his blessing to cover the song.
I think I more so just get annoyed at people trying to say "oh this one's better.. no this one..." like I think everyone can have their opinion but of course Isbell has to be given credit for writing such a poignant, beautiful song.
A solider who did get affected after the war and he goes injured within and he wasnt the same person and i dont blame him for that but its sad to see that but this cover song i 10X better than the original
You’re absolutely right about the detox. I spent 3 months in Marine Corps boot camp to prepare me to be, and make me a Marine. That was way easier than transitioning back to being a civilian on my own 4 years later. There needs to be more help to readjust to civilian life again
They have a program called Warrior transition program that’s to help decompress and make that switch back to civilian life, but it is severely underutilized
@@jrjones7172it’s a song about WEAK veterans who shouldn’t of never served!! PTSD is literally letting the enemy win…we need higher standards in the military!
“ Why do we have a hard time letting go of the past?” Because the past made us who we are today. PTSD isn’t a veteran refusing to let go of the war, it’s the war that’s refusing to let go of the veteran.
What should we react to next from Morgan Wallen?
