@@jamalmohamed2382 my guess is this is a censored version where any mention of illegal drug use is censored. the original has a scene where the evil players were injected with a drug and went underwater kicking a ball and there was a huge shockwave and scientists were observing it.
That moment we saw the goalie was a game changer. And what sold it best was the little roll he gave. Literally daring him to try harder. That was the moment we realized how much trouble we're in.
2:29, love how that ball is moving so fast that it is forming a shockwave on the grass with just the amount of breeze it is moving with and playing 2:29 at 0.75 speed was supposed to be in the movie, slow and nice.
2:50 - this is unfortunately the censored version of the movie or youtube did it. In the original version, at this moment, there was a camera shot on the goalkeeper's bleeding glove and dripping blood. it added a lot of drama.
You know what? The filmmakers of Shaolin Soccer refused to use any kind of CGI or other artificial special effects. They are using REAL Shaolin kung fu to make this movie, and all those "effects" are natural phenomena. Every actor is a true kung fu artist and Shaolin master. That's why this real-life movie is much more intensified than any anime.
hmm, I wonder why they cut that scene out where after the goalie blocks the first shot and screams, they do a close up shot of his left arm covered in blood
They censored this so hard. In the original version, the evil team attacker walk up to the bruce lee goal keeper and kick the ball into him, causing him to fly off the field. It was brutal.
Not to mention the extra part where after he made the first save from the striker, you see that one of his arms is bleeding, showing he couldn't handle the strikers shot.
@@Gamefanaticzz That's also why the n°9 was raising his eye. As in "Really?", because he knew he injured his left hand. When he smiled back, that's it...
Watching this movie as a teenager was an amazing experience. Stephen Chow is truly one of a kind.
The only movie that can match the intensity of animes

really great CGI for a 19 year old movie.
That wasn't CGI, just extremely athletic people, thankfully they are forbidden to compete in the Olympics.
how dare u said it was cgi

@Dick Borbon basically the same thing...
It was made in the 2000
in the original dialogue the boss didnt say "that special training was worth every penny", he said "the American drugs were worth every penny"
Why didn't they include it

I love team evil's manners
I think PUMA alone had produced this hilarious movie...
They knew what they were in for. This movie did fucking well internationally too.
Everything Puma lmao

Flawless movie. Just perfection.
I wonder how many Puma merchandises have been sold because of this movie. 😂
a lot bro. I bought puma football shoes when I don't play football hhhahha
I've seen this movie twice and have known about it for years and only just realized the puma logo now in this clip.

Because of this movie, i still buy puma items till this day.
I am Asian, and after the release and the hype of this movie, Puma got huuuuge big time in Asia.
He threw that ball perfectly straight down the middle with no hint of it falling down and still knocked the goalie back. What a fucking power move.
"Special Training"
You mean steroids?
lol yeah, that's just bad english dubbing. The original translated says "who would've thought american drugs were this powerful"
😂😂😂😂
Çok güzel bir şey yok ki de bir Davutoğlu lazım ama bu kadar çok seviyorum ben seni çok seviyorum
