2018 Chevy Colorado Exhaust Rattle Fix. I just bought a 2018 Chevy Colorado Work Truck with a 6 speed manual and I was hearing a rattle or buzzing at certain rpms. I bought the truck from my brother who had been told he needed to replace the entire exhaust from the flex pipe to the muffler which included the catalytic converter. This would cost $1751. I spent 2 minutes investigating and found a cracked bracket. I used three hose clamps to securely fasten the exhaust and there’s no noise now. Be careful and don’t just believe what a mechanic says. Find a mechanic who you can trust.

Thanks for the help. I’ve been dealing with this issue. I had the same broken tab and the noise was driving me mad. Always happened at roughly around 2000 rpm
