Can we not just unanimously nominate Habib Umar to be the Ameer ul Mumineen of our era.... everything I see and hear about him tells me this blessed man is one that can be trusted and will be just and lead us to a better future!
Great message from Shaykh Habib Umar. If a person wants to find their way home and not be an inhabitant of hell, they need to repent and come onto the correct path. It’s the ones who keep going back to their sinful ways that are in trouble. The people who repented from the boat genuinely did realize their faults and genuinely did change their ways going forward. They took Master Karkhi as their example. These days you get the ones who understand the magnitude of their offenses to Allah Almighty and just don’t care, so they return back to their sinful places. Common sense is unfortunately gone from people. Having Habib Umar as an example should be the only thing needed to find your way home❤️

Quran, 29:45 Recite what has been revealed to you of the Scripture; keep up the prayer: prayer restrains outrageous and unacceptable behaviour. Remembering God is greater: God knows everything you are doing.
Habib Umar's response made me feel humble and he has corrected my thinking, by the grace of Allah. It is true what he says. We ourselves judge and personally, I have taken a very black or white view of the trans and the homosexual communities. Now, after seeing this video, I stand corrected, alhamdulillah. I am not in a position to judge anyone, no one is because we ourselves are not perfect. We may abstain from zina, khamr, ghibah, give zakat, sawm and do our salah on time.......but that does not give us the right to be cruel and consider ourselves better than anyone else. Only Allah (swt) knows what is in our hearts, and it is possible that although a trans person or someone else who has stepped out of the muslim societal norms, may actually be the better person. We are taught by rasul Allah (saw) that the thing that makes us better than others in front of Allah is taqwa, our levels of iman. May Allah forgive us and open our hearts to learn from the guidance of our elders like this wonderful scholar and grant us jannat al firdaus, amin. 🤲🏼🤲🏼

Pray to Allah(swt) to save you, the people you know and care, pray for me and the people i know and care about, to save us from such evil.
Thé prophet ﷺ when asked about Zina, his response was merciful yet direct and calling out munkar a munkar so there is no ambiguity. His response is indeed beautiful, yet was half way without giving a full response between targhib and tahdeed.
Because the questioner acknowledged their sin and was not misguided to think that homosexuality is not a sin. They basically asked for advice about how to come home.
He did just that and more. watch it a few times and you'll get it. Could it be that what you're really sad about is that he didn't do takfeer, like the scholars you are used to?
Don't accuse him of something you don't know. He made people think for themself and that's important to let the people think and understand. So being gay isn't the major sin, it's the sin to forfill the sexual act. May Allah swt. protect and guide us all.
@@abihanies no you ignorant ignoramus. Being gay means you are attracted to same gender not succumbing means you are gay but still control your desire and not have any ses.
Well he responded well and gave some examples. But he did not mentioned about prophet Lut and his people and what happened to them. Yes the hope you will not give up but that does not mean that you have to go acting as transgender. He also had to gave the example that Allah swt created man and women. It's a tired counterpoint that all traditional (i.e. not so-called Salafi, not so-called Ahlul Hadeeth) are aware of already and it does not hold much water because it does not mean what you think it means, and it does not have the same conclusions and consequences that you think it has. The Ba'alawi habibs are mostly Shafi'i scholars anyway, so if I was myself of the Ba'alawiyya tradition (which I'm not), then I'd be following sound fiqh while fully knowing that there are differences of opinions and rulings on fiqhi matters, and I'd be following the sound aqidah of the ahlus sunnah wal jamaah. Actually the brother has indeed answered the questions but what he had to say is that it is not allowed in ISLAM to committ these sins. These sins are almost unforgivable! Actually he gave that person who was asking the questions that they can go ahead with what they are doing instead of telling the truth.
Everyone is a sinner and there are minor and major sins. Allah is most merciful and most forgiving, but in order for someone to be forgiving; he/she must genuinely repent, that's stop/terminate committing the sins he or she is doing and shows remorse. Continue indulging in the act of homosexuality/LGBTQ and being proud of it is not the way of repentance.

Islamic rulings on this matters is clear cut - sugarcoatting them will never make it right. @@nsibtrap8094 The trans said they were trying to find their way to Allah and that they were happy to see the sheikh. Well, the way to Allah is not by commiting a major sin. They wanted to know the sheikh's opinion on this community, it does not matter and the sheikh should not speak of his own opinion, what matters is the religion of Islam. This is very clear, in islam, such things are strictly forbidden, major sins, Allah wiped out the whole world in the great deluge except few with Prophet Lot peace be upon him, why? because of their disbelief first and for the gravity of their sin and corruption. A muslim shall never shy away when stating a clear haram act, a major sin, in this case, the best advise should be : STOP doing what you are doing and repent immediately if you fear Allah, this sin calls for Allah's anger, be sincere.

To all the goofballs in the comments saying "omg where's the fatwa, he didn't say it's outright haram, blah blah." Bruh. It's obviously a heinously major sin. This was an absolutely amazing and beautiful response! I'm absolutely blow away by his grace, gentleness, and piety with that one response!! Subhanallah!
May Allah extend his life and continue to bless the Ummah! Aameen
Very beautifully answered by the Shayk, this is the essence of wisdom.
Cannot get an answer more clear or precise than this. May Allah swt reward you brother.
Both the sheikh and the questioner have special status within Allah. Don't give up...
Masya Allah Habib Umar. How soothing, full of wisdom your answer is. I'm crying
Can we not just unanimously nominate Habib Umar to be the Ameer ul Mumineen of our era.... everything I see and hear about him tells me this blessed man is one that can be trusted and will be just and lead us to a better future!
Thank you. I cried listening to the response
Jazakallah khair for translating this 👍🏻
U can see the experience and wisdom displayed 🎯
Great message from Shaykh Habib Umar. If a person wants to find their way home and not be an inhabitant of hell, they need to repent and come onto the correct path. It’s the ones who keep going back to their sinful ways that are in trouble. The people who repented from the boat genuinely did realize their faults and genuinely did change their ways going forward. They took Master Karkhi as their example. These days you get the ones who understand the magnitude of their offenses to Allah Almighty and just don’t care, so they return back to their sinful places. Common sense is unfortunately gone from people. Having Habib Umar as an example should be the only thing needed to find your way home❤️
you have done great Job, i hope you can translate more content like this.

The position that a muslim takes on this matter is the position of allah and his prophet..... may allah guide us-amin

How do you get the translation? Do you have Malaysian friend syeikh ? Btw it was a beautiful answer melted our heart, even this answer was criticized by Wahabis, May Allah raise Maqam of Habib Umar .

Such wisdom, SubhanAllah. Beautiful response given in a calm and respectful manner masha Allah. May Allah preserve Habib Umer and bless him with a long and healthy life, Aameen.🤲 May we take heed and never be judgemental, Aameen.🤲
Quran, 29:45
Recite what has been revealed to you of the Scripture; keep up the prayer: prayer restrains outrageous and unacceptable behaviour.

What a beautiful reply. May Allah(swt) increase him in rank. And to my fellow brothers and sisters, please do not judge others about hell and heaven, as Allah(swt) is the only one who can do so. Be kind with your words. Stay away from sin like lgbt etc. If you have feeling like lgbt etc then you are not sinner asking as you do not act upon your desires and try to keep yourself away from it.
What an incredible man.
But he didn't reply what was asked,he gave a merry go round answer not clear
😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
He did just that and more. watch it a few times and you'll get it. Could it be that what you're really sad about is that he didn't do takfeer, like the scholars you are used to?
Answered like a true politician. Politically correct, and winning the popular vote. 😂
Don't accuse him of something you don't know. He made people think for themself and that's important to let the people think and understand. So being gay isn't the major sin, it's the sin to forfill the sexual act.
May Allah swt. protect and guide us all.
Being gay means you had succumbed to the sin. If has not then you are not gay.
So what do you expect him to say or act. Act like a true ISIS?
atleast he didnt ask others to take up swords and cut her head off
@@abihanies no you ignorant ignoramus.

So man has to live like man and woman like woman.
The questioner most likely knows all that. You can tell from the humble way in which the the question was asked. The Sheikh then advised them on how to leave the sin and find their way back to Allaah.
Transgender & LUT are the not the same.
@@justasoul3148 Yes they are. A man who thinks she is a woman and dress like it is still a man.

Subhanallah wAllahu akbar. May Allah be pleased with and reward Habib Umar bin Hafiz.
It is only in the last year that I learned about him and the Ba'alawiyya tradition. It is truly a guiding light for the ummah.
The prophet and his companions were not ba’alawis. Stick to their guidance not someone who came centuries later and claiming he has blood of rasool Allah saw
@@ahmedparker1079: By your logic the four madhhabs shouldn't exist either, as the Prophet and his companions didn't follow them.
@@minskdhaka Firstly, all the madhahibs stuck to the guidance of rasool Allah to the point where each one of them said if my opinion goes against a stronger authentic opinion to rasool Allah then throw my opinion in the trash. So the mashabihs did not follow imam ba’awali they followed Muhammad saw
@@ahmedparker1079assalam alayka akhi, you are losing your time in debating with these ignorant sufis, they are plenty of bidaa, superstition & for some of them major shirk. Only Allah can give them guidance
@@ahmedparker1079 Consider who that statement was directed to (the one regarding "if there is another stronger hadith that contradicts..."). Not a layman who picks up a copy of Bukhari. At the end of the day, you think that your knowledge and your scholars are in the way of the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ, and I think the same. This is a debate that has been sadly raging for hundreds of years.
May Allah reward the Sheikh Ameen

You see the difference between a Sufi and an ordinary moslem
Sufis are weak and tolerant of almost everything.
Actually the brother has indeed answered the questions but what he had to say is that it is not allowed in ISLAM to committ these sins.
These sins are almost unforgivable!
Actually he gave that person who was asking the questions that they can go ahead with what they are doing instead of telling the truth.
I said the same things but there are those who are busy clapping forgetting about what Allah did to sodom and gomorrah- The people of Lut as.

In times of fitnah, scholers have greater responsibility to warn people against crossings Allah's boundaries. By Leaving out such ruling in his explanation, the sheekh's take implicitly suggested relaxation of rulings, eventhough he didn't say so. This is bound to create confusion. May Allah forgive and have a mercy on us all
The Shaykh (may Allah preserve him) referred to the questioner as "him". He also began with speaking about minor and major sins. There was also a general understanding among the room about the related ahkam (rulings). Even the accounts he mentioned were about sinful people. His words were about repentance and maintaining ropes with Allah. This is all very clear. I hope his wise, merciful and encouraging words will have a profound effect upon the questioner and everyone else, in the same way it did for those people he mentioned in the accounts, by the Grace of Allah.

He should have also clearly stated that this is Haram just like cheating on your wife, or taking cocaine as a recreational drug.
I don't think this Shiekh needs your advice on how to respond to questions.
His answer was full of so much wisdom, if you can't see that then the problem is with you.
@@MrFatboyRuns no one is above giving, needing, or receiving any advice. Much in Islam mentions this. I imagine the speaker himself will agree.
The meaning of repentance: "The literal meaning of the Arabic word tawba is "to return" and is repeated in the Qur'an and hadith (sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad). In the context of Islam, it means to turn or to retreat from past sinful and evil activities, and to firmly resolve to abstain from them in future."
Sheik Habib Umar was in no way telling the questioner to continue, he specifically used the word "repentance". He has not encouraged them to carry on sinning.
@@nsibtrap8094 except that bandit is not so much the same thing as trans!!!!!
@@nsibtrap8094
The trans said they were trying to find their way to Allah and that they were happy to see the sheikh.

A person who is at war with his nafs (desires) hates his sin and hides it from others in shame. They have hope.
A person who is a slave to his nafs publicly flaunts his sin as natural and expects others to not only agree with his lifestyle but to praise it. Allah has set them loose to the Satans for whom he becomes prey and their only hope of salvation is Allah alone.
The alphabet people have no hate for their lifestyle but rather feel it is preferable to the husband and wife union ordained by God.

@@salimkomora4477
We would assume it resides in all of us.
To all the goofballs in the comments saying "omg where's the fatwa, he didn't say it's outright haram, blah blah." Bruh. It's obviously a heinously major sin. That's a given, no need to state the obvious. However, these sins do NOT equate to kufr, so there's plenty of room for repentance. How many of you have committed zina, taken out interest-based loans, drank alcohol, or smoked weed? Does that remove you from the fold of Islam? No, although they're all *MAJOR* sins. Hang on to the pillars, especially the 5 prayers, and Allah will pull you out eventually. To that I can attest.
Why no need to state the "obvious "? Apparently, it's not "obvious " enough if people continue to try changing their genders
