Cool review…new to the channel. Just made a purchase on OfferUp…2 12’s P3 along with a Fosgate p1000x1 and a p600x4 with oem box for 300 dollar. I’m so greatly grateful. Can’t wait to hook it up. Just gonna push the p1000x1 not sure what to do with the p600x4….maybe connect it to my mids and hi.
Definitely throw in some mids. Me and Caleb did and tell you what it changes the music and for the better. Keep your door speakers, add a couple or 4 mids to the mix. They'll love that amp and you'll love the music and sound. Thanks for your comment and sharing.
I have the 12inch version of the P3 in Rockfords ported box running on the P1000X1bd mono amp. I have bass but the speaker barely moves. I have adjusted and even maxed out the gains but still not as much as the 10 the video. What could be my issue?
I'm not sure which version you have but in this video I have a dual 2 ohm sub. You can see I have it wired to 1 ohm and it runs at 3 ohm's. So if you have a dual 4 wired to 2 ohm's it's probably going to run at 5 Ohm's. Your Rockford amp is probably rated at 1&2 ohm's at 1K watt's. At 4 ohm's it probably does like 500 watt's or so. So at the best power you're probably getting maybe 400-500 watt's at peak. An Audison Sr 500.1 would serve you well. A Taramps 1200 4 ohm version. You need an amplifier that does 1,000 watts at 4 ohm's and you will be good. This question right here is why I started making my videos to show people how subwoofers run and actually use power. I was in your same shoe's wondering what the heck was going on. Thanks for your comment and support 🙂. I appreciate it. Great question ⁉️
@@SubzPawz Thanks for your response and information. My sub is the Punch P3 (P3D2-12) and it's wired internally to 1 ohm. The P1000X1bd will support a 1 ohm load. I also have it wired correctly in phase that why I was thinking that maybe I had a different issue. Great video. Keep up the good work.😀
I chose the new P3s over the T1s, do you think I made the right choice as far as price point? I got the 2 P3's and a custom tuned box along with the 1200.1 Fosgate amp installed for 1195$ by Xtreme Car Audio here in Morristown (7 time world champions), the T1 setup was going to be an additional 500$ but they were afraid the sound wouldn't satisfy me at paying an additional 500$. Give my your second opinion, you have popped up on my page enough you have earned my sub. Love your content.
Thanks. I appreciate it. Honestly I would have gone with the T1 for the extra $500. I have tested the P1, P2, and P3, T0,T1 new and old and my favorite is my T2 12 I will never sell. I would see if you can get an upgrade and just say you weren't satisfied with what you paid for. If you have the extra money definitely go for the T1. The bass is like you are in a whole different category. I can't believe they told you that. That's what the power series is all about. Not just the extra bass and deaper bass but the extra sound quality. The extra power. Have them wire them to that Fosgate 1200 watt juice at 1 ohm and you will notice a huge difference. Not small but huge. Thanks for letting me chime in. I hope you can figure something out with them. Let me know how things work out.
@@rogersingh3918 I believe a Taramps HD 3K Amplifier. But as you can see from the Dyno I wasn't getting 3K of power. Thanks for your comment and support 🙂
I have the older T1-12. I had the newer T1-10. I think the year's have done them for the better. The newer ones are better. Thanks for your question and comment 😊
Grab it fast. Don't sit on it. The P3 is a budget sub. The T0 is stepping into the competition sound quality department. Thanks for your question and comment 😊
Those all have rubber boots on the magnets u have u take the boot off to see to magnet is actually a third the size u think it is and Rockford's vast system is part of the sub glueing failure points like 15 percent have been sent back I have a 15 inch p1 for my home theater right not also p1 15 is single 4 ohm uses a 2 inch voice coil has maybe 8 mm x max at most
I have owned more than 10 Rockford Punch and Power series subs and never had an failures. I have a buddy who's been working for them for years, he's run the HX2, older Punch and Power subs and same deal, no failures. I think many failures are the operator, not the components.
So I would probably get an amp that does 600 watt's at 4 ohm's. A 2,000 watt 1 ohm amp. Definitely something bigger than you might think battling the impedance rise. Thanks for your comment 😊. If you need help with anything else don't hesitate to ask.
I'm not sure I understand. I think it's a great sub. There's just too much competition today and the old companies need to catch up on today's market. Thanks for your comment 😊
Everything Rockford has is designed by a team. They have hundreds of patents on their products. Similarities may be some of the same but the same sub, no.
Very misleading. Here i was thinking we were gonna see you send it on this sub. It got a whole 1000 watts for less than a second and you acted like it took it. Lame.
I was happy just to see it hit that number and that's what I was trying to get it to do. It's a budget subwoofer that's a 500 watt sub. Do I get excited, sure, for the people that buy them and spend their hard earned money on them just like I did to demo it. There's nothing misleading about getting excited about a company. I still have this sub along with over 150 other's. The RMS number is what we should be concerned with and that it did with flying colors. Thanks for your comment 😊
@@SubzPawz read the title of your video. "On a 1000 watts". Obviously rockford builds quality stuff. I have rockford in my car. I've got a l7q 12 on a t1500-1bdcp. 900 watt rms sub on an under rated 1500 watt amp. It was a click bait title no matter how you twist it.
