Bart comes outta nowhere: BUT YOU GUYS DIDNT EVEN WIN THO!
Plot twist, he's behind the camera.
Which episode did bart say that !?
@@yoitsphillip "Justin Bieber wants to treat him like a human beings"
😭😭💀💀💀
The Jabbawockeez will forever be big bro and the Kinjaz lil bro, so there's no need for there to be beef. True dance fans that have followed them both love them equally for their own unique styles and contribution to the culture.
Dude, Anthony you are so articulate. Great topics. Thanks, David.
I know what you mean, Anthony really thinks before he speaks and he's very thoughtful. It shows in his choreography too.
Anthony Lee is the perfect podcast guest. He always has some interesting profound deep thoughts to share
42:00 if you came here for the Jabawockeez part.
however, I advice y'all to watch whole vid.

The thing he said about when the mass knows enough about dancing to actually appreciate the professionals is so true. My sisters like to do tik tok dances, my friends too, but dancing good and merely dancing is different. They see a move and mimic it but it doesn't translate well with their body. I danced traditionally and modern fusion since I was in kindergarten, and I did Latin ballroom dancing through college, I am not even close to being a pro but I have technique, when I see my friends or my sisters, when I say that's not how they did that move, and they're like ' yes it is', but it's completely different. They literally do not see the difference in their movement. And it wasn't until I showed them how the dancers actually moved compared to how they move by doing it myself is when they notice the difference. You really do have to come up the level to appreciate the pros because only then you know how hard it is to do a certain move and make it look a certain way. Wow, that is such an amazing way to look at things!!!!
But I really don't like how some tiktok dancers are seen as "actual dancers" or "professional dancers". It bothers me, especially when all the dancer do is body rolls and woahs. Real dancers that dance on tiktok with actual choreography tho, that's different cause THAT'S dance and I appreciate that.
@@plip5489 I never said tiktok dancers are actual professional dancers. And i dont think they are considered professional dancers. However, tiktok does make it more accessible for people who want to dance for fun as a medium. Unless it is a tiktok user that are made by actual dancers.
@@lunacraftcrochet Oh, I wasn't arguing or disagreeing with you 😅. I just wanted to state my thoughts haha :)
So what Anthony was saying is that just like basketball, football etc kids grow up playing with these things and learning about them. shooting the basketball, dribbling it, throwing the football so on. it’ll be the same for dance more kids are gradually learning to dance through TikTok and as they learn they’ll see what is takes to be on a pro level. the talent, the skill etc. the same way kids see how much it takes to get to the nba or nfl it’ll be the same for dance and that’s when dance will truly become a figurehead in the entertainment industry. We see how easy it is to get views on TikTok videos are getting millions of views and millions of likes easily of simple dances wait till the see truly great dancers
This episode was fantastic. Anthony's drunken insights are top notch.
I 100% agree! How they bonded as well made it great
😂😂
Ey, David, one of the main reasons why I like your podcast is because you get some good information from your guests' past background and plus I get yours too. A lot of other podcasts don't like the interviewer to talk about themselves, which may sound like a lowblow but, bro, that's that makes us closer to podcasts itself. Anyway, this is why I probably gravitate towards these podcasts that you do. There's a little bit of comedy and some personal shit with you and your guests. Oh yeah, and the drinking which is dope af. Keep doing what you do. I may not make sense right now cause I'm pretty faded myself but yeah bro, keep doing you bruh. Much love. Oh yeah shout out to SNOWGLOBE PERSPECTIVE. Kinjaz and Jabbawockeez are dope too. Yurrrrrrd
the chemistry is strong in this episode
The Energy in this video is beyond amazing, I’m at work and it’s 6:30 and because of this video I know my day will be good thanks David for the joy keep up the grind brotha 🙏🏾
I’ve known the Jabbaz LONG before they even became the Jabbawockeez. Them and the Kinjaz have an obviously different upbringing and both crews’s style and approach is entirely different with hints of similarities. People need to stop comparing the two, honestly. They’re both dope, and should be appreciated for what they do.
If you’ve been around long enough, the Jabbaz style stems from a NorCal/Bay Area bboy style from the early 90s. The Kinjaz are more closely similar to the crew, Kaba Modern, from the same period, which was more a SoCal style. Some will disagree, but that’s fine. Let’s all agree that Cali produces the best of the best!
@@Rumplegirlskin I can dig that. That what I been tryina say!
You're right
I need more David and Anthony podcasts 😂😂😂 idk why but this one just hits different😂😌💙
Probably two of my favourite people on UA-cam. Killed it again David. Thank you for always working so hard
40:47 My friend and I were talking about the concept of detaching/letting go or as she puts it, "giving it up to God." Basically, learning how to deal with things and accepting that things aren't going to happen the way you expect. There's also a thing in the tarot/spiritual community called the tower moment, which is that necessary chaos to open new doors. It can happen when you're trying to hold onto something you should let go of.
For example, if someone's goal was to make more money but they have a job that doesn't pay well, the tower moment could be them losing their job. Maybe they become motivated to find a new job and they find a job that pays even more. The tower moment is pretty much something shitty that happens that turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Not saying you have to go through these moments in order to achieve your goals.
I'd recommend you look into the philosophy of stoicism. It's a pretty similar way of thinking
On world of dance latest's season, these tiktok famous guys came and auditioned, and did not make the cut at the very first audition - and that's what Anthony is talking about.
LMAO. Are you talking about the Williams fam? They are actually really really good dancers. Just their choreo for WOD was shit. It did look like a tiktok dance. I've seen dance class videos of them tho, they acc great dancers.
damn the amount of people that need to hear "being wrong isnt like "oh im a horrible human being" I was just wrong"
I wasn't expecting a vid at 2am 😂😂
We are up pretty late lol
This is by far my favorite Genius Brain podcast episode, I was dying at work 😂
Once again David delivers and Anthony as a guest is awesome. When two creative minds are together the conversation just flows. Always look forward to your podcast. Sending good vibes always 🤙🤙🤙
I see Anthony, I click.
I love him too much, y'all.
He has girlfriend. Just saying.
I love him on jk. Anthony is the best
Anthony Lee makes me feels things with his big words and vocabulary usage 😍😍
That's that quarantine thirst trapping 😂😂😂
The best one yet. Really enjoyed this. More with Anthony Lee!!!
Yo david if you see this .... love the vids but i have no time to watch a lot... although i find this video/podcast so interesting i had to comment something... Keep up the good work dude! thanks for this podcast!
This has to be one of my favorite podcast episodes you have uploaded thus far.
Hands down my favorite ep of Genius Brain . The chemistry between David & Anthony had me cracking up the whole thing. Can't wait to see these two again!
The dynamic between David & Anthony was amazing. So insightful and entertaining!
Anthony: "My mama's black shoes" - points at pants. lol
the part when they are talking about tiktok dancers, and them recognizing, Bailey is a good example on people recognizing that their is a difference because she even does the tiktok dances waaaaay better than everyone on that app and people see it
THIS EPISODE IS ONE OF MY FAVESSSS LMAOOOO IM TRYNA GET AS BUZZED AS ANTHONY POST-ISO 😂😭😭😭 loveeeee love love the chemistry between yall omg
Was listening to this on Spotify but came here to watch David lose it when Anthony called his pants shoes 😂😂😂
this was such a good conversation! much love to Anthony 💕
Yess!! Need to watch David dance again. I love his video with Ellen. It was so funny to see him try.
Anthony Lee has become one of my favorite JK guests, so I’m glad David has him on GeniusBrain.
I want to see more dancers on the podcast like Bboy Vincanity, any of the other members from Jabbawockeez, Kinjaz, or even Quest crew.
Should get Phil Tayag on since he's friend with David and get the answer on why he left the Jabbawockeez.
@@supratrd900 he probably won't be comfortable talking about that
He's had Ben "B-Tek" Chung on & he's also had Lawrence Kao on.
When Anthony talked about the windmill bruises, I felt mine from 20 years ago. 😂
"People don't wear jabbawockeez mask in covid season" 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂
I've been waiting for you to bring on Anthony! Love him everytime he's on JKnews
Ay shoutout to David for treating my insomnia with more content.
Yay thank you for inviting Anthony, it was a very interesting episode!
Man this was a good one. Loved the conversation.
This was awesome! I love Anthony Lee! Hope to see more of him on this podcast!!
When Anthony talks about general pop not understanding the talent until we start to have a natural foundation to realize the talent at 15:00 , it relates so much to everything else emerging. Look at esports now! Dance has a very bright future
Lmao. They got hellaaa drunk. Holy shit I lost it at “these shoes.”
Indomie Migoreng is one of the best instant noodles, was about to get mad that david didnt mention it until the end. LMFAO that ending from anthony man... eyy I definitely feel you. My fat cuz is funny ass shit
1:01:28 "I'll have two no. 9s, a no. 9 large, a no. 6 with extra dip,..." type of moment 😂
I dont know why but this is my favorite podcast episode thus far. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS EPISODE AND I WOULD LKE MORE OF BOTH OF YALL this chemistry is p good and i learned a lot
This is one of my favorite episodes ever!!! This was great!!!!
This is the best one by far, love these two!
*Time out “I gotta pee!” 😂😂😂
Best broadcast. Need more of this
I love these. Keep these up, man
Dancing was gang affiliated back in the day. Very true in the Hmong community. Back in the 90s majority of the break dancers were gang members and fights always broke out during a battle. It was so bad our Hmong New Year celebrations banned break dancing. It got a bad rep in our community amongst the OGs.
I can relate so much to David and Anthony! Ugh it hurts, the reality, but these guys bring out true perspective and makes me accept the way things are.
Yo this episode is wayyyyy underrated!! I love this one!!
David's laugh is contagious lmao
1:23:55 Drunk Anthony is fucking hilarious 🤣 this podcast is def top 10.
This is the episode that got me to subscribe. Thanks and nice job!
These episodes always got straight gems in them 👌🏿👊🏿🙏🏿...
¡Peace, love and more life to everyone out there, stay safe! 👊🏿🙏🏿❤️
This podcast came at the right time. It's a slow day at work, so it's gonna be a good listen! 💃👌
Love this episode! Great talks!
Holy crap...an almost two hour episode but it didn’t miss a beat with me....was entertained the whole time...as a professional dancer and the comedian of the crew....not to mention the resident alcoholic....this episode basically solidified my life story....thank you David and Anthony!!!
I love your podcast and I cannot work without it!🤘
Im from Indonesia and heard u guys talking about indomie mie goreng is just really cool for me, and u guys even trying to compare it to kinja bang noodle like bruh that's really cool.
Bagian mana bro?
Manado
I love David and Anthony’s relationship
I remember being in highschool when jabba was on ABDC.
Ayo, shout out to this episode of Kinjaz Konvos!
David I know you hear this a lot but lots of love from Sac man you’re a motivation for a Sac boy myself 🙏🙏
Lmfaooo. The fact that David didn't acknowledge Anthony's "poetic" moment. 🤣🤙
Lmaoooo what’s the time stamp again?
DOPE interview!!!
Society fighting with dance idea instead of wars and physical fights reminds me of an anime called Hypnotism Mics thats out right now in the 2020 fall anime. They only do battles by singing and rapping, pretty good series.
Great ep. Love Anthony! Can't wait til those noodles drop!
“I don’t give a fuck” is the most drunk Vietnamese thing to say 😂😂😂😂
This is SOO FUNNY LOL im listening while doing my work hahaha. im so glad they can be drunk and funny and chill.
This is dope having Anthony here!
Its so wierd when people compare kinjaz to the jabbawockeez, if anyone watches there dances you can see clear differences. It'll be like comparing today's pop music to old blues, it makes no sense.
Yooo I need more Anthony on your podcast! This shits hilarious!
The way that drunk anthony is just even more coherent and clear
I am a poor man, but I will spend my lifesavings to watch david so battle anyone in the kinjaz
I LOVED THIS EPISODE LOL anthony is so funny drunk omg but the amount of times he kept wiping his sweat off made me sweat cause same 😅😂
David and Anthony's vibes are a big mood. We need more!
Real people, real talk!! Love it
Great podcast. Learnt alot. And David So’s level of chill is something i aspire to. The pillow on the lap. The slip ons. Boss-level IDGAF shiiiiiiii.
Why Am I Only Seeing This Vid NOW???!! These were exactly the topics that I was contemplating when this whole tik tok thing hit! Like I feel like the little shit that's being a killjoy on how tik tok has really changed the way people view dance now. Like everyone is really hyped about it but I feel the culture, at a certain angle of viewing it, made the world of dance really mainstream or in a way somewhat corny in that sense.
Crazy how Anthony Lee learned of Kobe’s news when he was in the deal of the Nike Air Sesh
show me the proof
1:10:54 My momma's black shoe! Lol
Shit had me dying. Drunk Anthony hits different 😂
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast 😂
i hate catching an upload cause now i gotta watch but then 1 less pod get to listen to at work
This is the conversation Aaron Burr needed to hear! 😂
My love for dancing started with High School Musical and Jabbawockeez elevated it to the point where I wanted to develop my dance. Kinjaz is that crew that made me realize I can do more with dancing.
CHAOS IS LIFE. I ACCEPT IT. --Loved that!
Great pod, drink more often! 😂
LOLLL THIS WAS A FOOKING HEELARIOUS ASS EPISODE. i wanted to stop watching in the middle so many times so i can go back to work but just couldn't pause it!
Great episode!
Love drunk talks. we need more of these
this genuinely might be my all time favorite podcasts ever lmfao
First time watching and this was legit! New subscriber for sure
YES! DAVID DANCE! LOL! I watched and grew up with the dance community here on UA-cam and how they came to be who they now. My brother also loved to dance, of course, also influenced by MJ, so it was always in my life. Watching films like "Stomp the Yard" & "You got served." I, myself, don't dance well, lol, but I appreciate the art, the details, the labor that goes into. I've danced before, like hip hop and contemporary, but I wouldn't say it was a high level. It was either for fun or part of school. However, dance doesn't discriminate on your level. Anyone can love it and try. It's freaking amazing. And when you see dancers like Ellen, Megan, Kinjaz, Jabbawockeez, Quest, Puspos, etc. It's quite amazing.
I'd love to see David dance lmao. I've seen him try to bboy with Vincanitv but I wanna see him dance seriously lol
Loved this episode! Please have Anthony back soon!
