This is honestly the greatest opening song in musical history. There is something so magical, that it doesn’t matter how many times I have heard it since the original Broadway cast, I still get chills, a teary eyed.
I was blessed to see this when it came to Charlotte, NC. Being there in person is simply breathtaking. I was so moved and even choked up by the beauty and majesty of this opening number. Words can’t begin to describe it or do it justice. I always have said Circle of Life was and is perfection.
My son loves the beginning of the loin king. He asked me how does this lady sound exactly like the movie. I told him some folks have “pure pure talent “.
I was lucky enough to see "The Lion King" with my brother-in-law for my 48th Birthday 🎂🎉 last Sunday at the magnificent Lyceum Theatre over here in London 🇬🇧, and the opening scene and the fantastic performance of "Circle Of Life" just simply blew me away and set the precedent for what an absolutely incredible musical this truly is. The first five minutes is really stunning and visually spectacular to see - there is simply NO other musical quite like "The Lion King" at all. No wonder it has been as astronomically successful and well-loved all around the world for the past quarter of a century, especially over here in London 🇬🇧. Certainly a tremendous Birthday 🎂🎉 that I will ALWAYS cherish forever. Well done to everybody involved in this epic production. One of the greatest theatre triumphs EVER. All hail "The Lion King". 🦁👑 Loved every minute of it. Impeccably AMAZING! 👍😍😍😍😍💗👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
