Balance team is completely pro play focused, is the reality. Adc is so busted in that setting that the entire role got Ryze'ed into oblivion for soloQ
Last season there were legit meta compositions with 3 adcs. Like zeri bot, corki mid and smolder top

The problem was just Absorb Life + Fleet being the best ADC runes. That made solo lane ADCs way too strong, especially in mid where mages just didn't have the damage to poke them out. All they had to do was nerf those runes and buff ADC items but apparently that's too complicated.

@podefunder adc items were plenty strong last season lol. Even in laneswhere sustain wasnt the issue in sololanes adcs were very strong. They gave all crit items 25%, they buffed AD on IE, LDR and BT, and bork was very strong also. They've since gutted these items again, thats why adc is trash

Imo shieldbow might be better choice than opportunity maybe just a little bit less DMG but you would not be scared so much and relentless hunter gives you 40ms imo worth more than those few hundreds gold which you were capping anyway
