That would really be cool if a local radio station could play these fun to listen shows, but I am very happy that U-Tube gives us the opportunity to listen to these very good creative stories. Thanks U-Tube and thanks ChillySunshine!! Thanks for the memories!!
Thank U-Tube & Chilly Sundhine!! Nothing better since originals in '74-'79. When started. Loved EG Marshall. Fred Gwyne, Ian Marshal, Elsbeth Eric & all others involved.
Great show series! I even love the original ads...the annoying UA-cam ad sare a different story, on the other hand...our modern day marketers could certainly take some lessons from the old school advertisers!! Today's show writers could also improve by mimicking the style, content and talent like those creators of material such as this! Keep up the great work, Chilly!
I use "ad free blocker" free on app store. stops ads. There might be a sec pause where you tube commercial is but you don't have to hear it. No probs with the app so far.
I've loved Roberta Maxwell ever since I saw her in Great Performances' production of Mourning Becomes Electra in the 1970s. Fantastic actress, with quite a mellifluous voice. It's always a pleasure to hear her.
19:12 locally our cbs radio or our npr station used to air an original story similar to cbsrmt. One was loosely based on an H P Lovecraft story- The thing in the Cellar! It was creepy as all hell and made the hairs on my neck rise up !
This has got to be one of my favourite stories, the suspense gradually increases. I don’t know how anybody can call this rubbish. It’s excellent storytelling with great sound effects except the cat which is a bit overdone but wonderful episode
E.G. Marshall...amazing voice..Wonderful radio series.
Yes, unmistakable voice, E.G. had.
EG Marshall is the man period 🤘

Thank chillysunshine.
The actor who played Herman Munster is a character in many stories! I heard this program growing up in the 70s. Good times.
No doubt, the 70's was a great time
Incredible episode, a real work of storytelling art. Thank you for making this available on YT. ❤️
I used to love listening to this on WBBM in Chicago about 30 years ago! Delighted to find it again on UA-cam ! 😊😱
Thank you so much
ChillySunshine for your priceless contribution of The CBS mystery stories. EDDIE B.
Thanks Eddie, It's been great fun for me to help keep CBSRMT alive all these years later.
If you're still out there EWB....👍
I just found your site. I absolutely love it!!!!!
This is my site, leave now, Ha haaaaa 😡🙀😫
Your illustrations are awesome!! Good story
They are wonderful! Every night I go to sleep with them! Thank you
Here too!
Love the accompanying art with the old shows.
Where is potsie? 😂
ChillySunshine, passed, about 5 years ago, sadly. But his channel has the best artwork!

@@kellenwright2388 ive downloaded it thanks.
You got that right.
I'd say about half of CBSTMT were horror, and another good chunk science fiction in nature. Part of the reason for it's ongoing popularity.

You are welcome.
ChillySunshine except for the annoying Buick commercial. Ugh
@@brunoantony3218 agree. They are sooooooo ! Annoying
The "Fear you can hear!"
Love the old commercial breaks from the series, But I wish they'd stop breaking in with these annoying UA-cam ads.
fast forward to the end restart the program and you'll be free of the u tube ads
I like this story the pic of the haunted church is interesting
Yes
Very.
The line, "this looks like a lizard skin," cracked me up 😂
Love the Buick ad...my dad had a 78 LeSabre.
I learned to drive in an 81 Buick LeSabre. 😁
@@PR-nq4dt I learned in a straight drive 76 Opel manta luxus....not the smartest move my dad ever made!!!
Wonderful indeed!!!
whoa...........I loved this....scared me !
This story was terrifying at 3am
Thank you, Chilly!! This one sounds pretty intriguing, looking forward to listening now 09-Sep-22🧜♀️🕯🖼
One of the best.
Is it just my opinion, or are the "cat sfx" way over done? There are a handful of CBSRMT episodes that take the dog and cat sfx over the top...
Oh those cat noises are as good as the adult trying to play a small child. I love old radio!
I noticed that too.... In several episodes... Lolzz... It always makes me giggle....🤭❣️
Thank you 👻
I listen to this all the time with my husband he got me into it.
Good show Chilly.
You know darn well that if that cat was hungry enough, he totally would have eaten Mrs. Adam's body.
True, but I'm thinking the writer wanted to let listeners I get that for themselves.
Good Halloween story
Listening 10.14.24 ìn Chicago.
My grandmother bought a 78 Buick LeSabre...
What's the worst thing you've ever done. I won't tell you that but I'll tell you about the worst thing that ever happened to me. The very worst thing.

Correct title is "The Church Of Hell".
Yes there are. And they are talmudic in nature.
