- I discuss various options for altering wood colors including paint, dye, heat, and ebonizing processes. Great tips for wand makers and possibly general woodcraft as well. Check out some of my other wand making vids to see how I apply some of these processes. And be sure to check out my Etsy shop to see what's in stock: nemesisgear.et...
Thanks so much for this video. Very informative. I know my wands will be better for it 😊
So glad you found it helpful. Best of luck in your wandmaking and please let me know if you have any questions or things you'd like to see in future vids. Thanks for the support! 😁
I’m so glad I’ve found this video!!!
Thank you for going into detail about colouring, I’ve found it hard to find videos that give advice in context with wand making and this was perfect!!
I’ve now got a few new ideas for future projects, thank you!
If you have time I’d love to see your thoughts on my first attempts at some new wands and ways I could improve/ expand upon for future projects!
It’s my most recent video on my channel and at 45min it’s not short but if you’ve got the time I’d really appreciate it.
Glad this was helpful. You may be interested in the followup I did as well on bleaching: ua-cam.com/video/QsCHwuo-7Ec/v-deo.htmlsi=8UdTd4ZY4qACVoOg

Great information thanks.
btw fuming oak with ammonia produces a really pleasing and fairly unique colour.
Interesting...Might have to play around with that at some point. Maybe during the summer when I can better ventilate though. :D
