One of the best bands that have ever existed. Nothing but talent! (how does this band manage to have so many talented musicians, like, the best of the best, together?!?)
This is why I'm a big fan of this band. While they put the trademark with the rock n roll songs. They can come up with totally different mood, like this one in particular. More post modern rock sound and atmosphere. Even a bit touch of grunge, but still retain the catchiness in the main melody (vocal).
Staring back from inside my mirror A boy I used to know Shining eyes that see right through my window soul Cowboys, kings and flying aces Somehow saved the day We were stealing kisses from the princess in the palace My Alice through the looking glass Is there really anything that lasts Makes me wonder if time is a bullet 'Cause everything is happening too fast I loved, I lost Where are they now The things I touched And let them fall Where are they now All the people that I've known That turned out to be me Where are they now Waiting in a line of five o'clock shadows Another pencil in the drawer Tripping over echoes in my head Wishing I was someone else instead Makes me wonder if time is my hero And everything will come around again I loved, I lost Where are they now The things I touched All the people that I've known That turned out to be me
Actually Jaimes Albuquerque in the CD that this music was release ( Deep Cuts - Best of the Ballands) Richie Kotzen recorded some songs and others was with Paul Gilbert, thats why he put it that way.
+Haissa Coelho Yes, most of the songs were recorded by Paul, cause Deep Cuts is a Compilation Album with the top ballads by the band since their beginning. Richie had just joined the band, in 1999. But "Where Are They Now?" was a new song that was released in this album, in 2000, and Richie recorded it. You can hear his voice among the backing vocals. He was an official member of the band and not "a special guest". Correct me if I'm wrong...
Richie Kotzen was a official member of the band recording Deep Cuts and Actual Size CD's; and in this same CD (Deep Cuts) was 3 new song play by Richie and more 3 re-recorded with him. He was in the band in 1999 to 2002. I think its just because in this CD there were songs with both guitar players, and used like this to distinguish them ^^ But i totally agree with you!

Salah satu lagu terbaik dari Mr Big
Staring back from inside my mirror
A boy I used to know
Shining eyes that see right through my window soul
Cowboys, kings and flying aces
Somehow saved the day
We were stealing kisses from the princess in the palace
My Alice through the looking glass
Is there really anything that lasts
Makes me wonder if time is a bullet
'Cause everything is happening too fast
I loved, I lost
Where are they now
The things I touched
And let them fall
Where are they now
All the people that I've known
That turned out to be me
Where are they now
Waiting in a line of five o'clock shadows
Another pencil in the drawer
Tripping over echoes in my head
Wishing I was someone else instead
Makes me wonder if time is my hero
And everything will come around again
I loved, I lost
Where are they now
The things I touched
All the people that I've known
That turned out to be me

Why "feat. Richie Kotzen"? Richie was a member of the band in this period...
It means when Ritchie Kotzen featured in the band those days may be mate.
