I started doing this when the kids went back to school! My husband and kids are all in school and that’s a whole lotta lunches to make at once and or trust everyone to make their own!!!
My kids are 12 & 15 and before I let them dish up their food for supper 😁 they have to put a lunch-sized serving in a Tupperware in the fridge for their lunch. In the morning I heat it I the microwave and put it in a thermos so they have a hot lunch every day. They also get fruit/veg and a little treat. The treats are 4 Hi Chew candies, one Indiv pkg of mini Oreos, something like that. Neither has time to eat much and they both hate sandwiches.
I do this with leftovers all the time! I don’t have kids (live with brother and his family) so whenever we make dinner, after everyone has eaten, I pack whatever’s left into Tupperware portions and keep it in the fridge for lunches. No waste and super quick lunches for a few days. Saves a ton of time and money!
Since we started homeschooling I try to have easy options for breakfasts, snacks, and lunch for my 9 and 7 year olds to get their own foods. It has been a game changer as it has allowed me to have a little more time to relax instead of working on school work, and then work work, and then house work, and then kid work... lol. I have wanted a Cricut for a really long time, this just might be reason enough to grab one. Thanks for sharing :)
We’ve implemented this idea a few times (or some variation) and while I love the ease of it, I always struggle to keep it up. We have 8 kiddos at home so the amount of lunch food is 😳 when I try to use some of the convenient/fun/snacky foods...but man does it ever streamline lunchtime!
my girls have bins snack bins they pick from and they know they need a fruit or veggies like cucumbers n ranch and then I will make a sandwich in the morning
Hi, I try to do the same at home buy different snacks for home and lunches to keep kiddos motivated. How do you keep within budget? I’m always over budget
I love this concept! Our school where I live is plastic free so everything we send can't be in any plastic, it's makes lunches alot more time consuming!
Not another cricut sponsored video…🙄 sorry don’t mean to be rude but it’s such a terrible company and machine. If people want a cutting machine - do your research and get a silhouette cameo!
I've had my Cricut for over 13 years and I love it! When I bought mine, it was the only machine available. I know a friend who has gone through 3 of the Silhouette machines since her first one because they keep breaking, but mine is going strong and works as well as it did the first day.
I don’t have any kids but I could see doing something similar for my husband and myself
Thanks for sharing! I have a similar system but I need to get containers for my refrigerator drawer area. I’ll check out Target!

It's kinda addicting! Now I am all about organizing and labeling everything!! It really does help the family get on board when it's all organized!
Glad you're having fun with the cricket however I would have preferred much more information on options that go in lunches
Thank you so much for sharing this! I definitely need to set up some kind of lunch system in our house. I still make their lunches.
It does make life easier!

I have the original cameo from 8+ years ago, use daily and still going strong.
