The Ottoman Empire was a colonial power. It was the successor of the Roman Empire. The Ottomans made Arabs and Muslim youth fight and die for themselves, used those lands to collect taxes, but in return did not make any investments in those lands and those lands remained undeveloped. The Ottoman Empire turned its back on the Arabs and face to the West. It had Arab intellectuals killed so that they would not criticize the corrupt administration of the Empire, which had fallen into pleasure, debauchery and waste. When the Ottoman Empire had just arrived, the Arab geography was experiencing its golden age. It was ahead of its time in subjects such as Ethics, Science, Medicine, Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Geometry and enlightened Europe. However, the Ottomans misused this wealth and development and spent this power on pleasure with women in the palace. Using this power, the Ottomans bridged the sectarian differences among Muslims and took the Middle East behind the times, just like America does today. During the Ottoman period, CEOs had a privileged place in the administration. Today, if Islam is associated with terrorism and underdevelopment, the Ottoman Empire is most responsible for this. Arabs and Muslims gave power to the Ottoman Empire and a great responsibility fell to the Ottoman Empire, but the Ottoman Empire abused this power and misrepresented Islam. If we are in this situation today, it is not the fault of the Palestinians, but the fault of those who shirk their responsibility. Stop using the CEOnists' propaganda of blaming the Palestinians for everything.

As an Arab I agree, However Ottomans in the that time were not implementing shariah and overthro the Sultan rule and accepted western ideologies, so Islamically they have no rights to hold our lands until they implement Shariah and rule by Islam and throw all western ideologies out.

From the first months of the siege, Ottoman soldiers experienced serious difficulties in every aspect. Especially food and health facilities came to the point of depletion in a short time. So much so that when the garrison surrendered, the only food supplies passed to the Hashemite Army consisted of dates and dried locusts. However, despite all the negativities, garrison commander Fahrettin Pasha did not want to surrender due to the moral and spiritual values in line with the city of Medina, which is considered sacred by Muslims.

Turkish garrison of Medina didn't surrender to Hussein bin Ali, in fact they didn't even surrender when WW1 ended! They surrendered at 10 January 1919, 3 months after than Ottoman signed ceasefire agreement with Entente powers. While Ottoman government was silent, it was the new government in Ankara who pressured British to release them and they had to release the commander Fahrettin Pasha. He returned Anatolia and continued fighting against Entente powers in Turkish war of independence.
It is again completely false young turks were Turkish nationalists and turkified Ottoman with liberal reforms, they were reformist conservatives and aimed to modernize Ottoman without touching its Caliphate at all. They replaced Sultan Abdulmahid because they believed his reforms weren't fundamental enough. This was why they were against Turkish revolutionaries later on, only a handful of them tried to join the new government in Ankara including Enver Pasha but they were rejected. Claiming those people were same and had same ideologies is just laughable at best, if you want to be successful do your research properly. Nobody in Ottoman regardless young turk Pashas nor ordinary Turkish soldiers had any intention to abandon Muslim lands to enemies. After Arab rebellion Turkish mindset changed and the new government in Ankara had one objective alone, liberating Turkish majority territories..

Young Turks were a Coalition of young dissidents who ended the sultanate of the Ottoman Empire. Consisting of college students and dissident soldiers, the group succeeded in 1908 in forcing Abdülhamid II to reinstitute the 1876 constitution and recall the legislature. The Young Turk era ended in 1918 with the war of independence. The subsequent Republic of Turkey inherited the political and social infrastructure of the Young Turk government. Young turks also had members in masonic logdes proving they were freemason and were clearly against Islam and had kufr in them. Sharif was abandoned by the British because he appointed himself as Caliph. Sufis, who strongly fought Europeans throughout Muslim lands, along with the office of the Khalifa, have been the main opposition to imperial European rule in the East. Ibn Saud guaranteed the word Khalifa will be buried, never to return again, and his theology of a savage form of Wahhabi Islam, attacked Sufis theologically and physically. The backwardness of Wahhabism also was pleasing to the British because it justified the worldview of the savage Muslim, in contrast making European culture look more civilized. Turks were the last ethnic group to rise to nationalism in the Ottoman Empire. Turkish nationalism was born as a reaction against the nationalist movements of other ethnic groups. The Young Turk movement was a response to this. The empire disintegrated when ethnic groups rebelled against the Ottoman Empire with nationalist sentiments. Turkish nationalism was instrumental in the liberation of today's Turkey.

Selam to all my brothers and sisters. I hope at least we here can commit to learning from the mistakes of history and stop peddling petty tribalism or dry nationalism. There are excellent people and unfortunately toxic people (particularly among our current leaders) in all the countries of the Muslim world but we are one Ummah. We have to put our petty differences aside and act with one mind and body. This is what our enemies fear most and have been working so hard to prevent since the collapse of the caliphate. The absence if this is the situation we see today. Kings in lofty palaces worried about their self interest as our brothers and sisters in Gaza get massacred without mercy. United we have a chance to attain peace under the shadow of our joint swords. Divided we are nothing and not worthy of the legacy of the great people who came before us

After Sultan Abdulhamid, the Ottoman administration was in the hands of pashas who were under European influence at that time. They tried to implement Turkish nationalism in some Arab geography. Like Cemal Pasha in Syria. However, when Yavuz Sultan Selim conquered Egypt, one of his pashas said, "We took Egypt from the Circassians and gave it to the Circassians again." Yavuz Sultan Selim executed that pasha. Because he was causing mischief of nationalism. With love to all my Muslim brothers from Turkey. Nationalism is a fitnah that divides the ummah. Then the alienation of the Arabs killed the idea of Islamizim and gived way to Turkification. That was the only ideology left, to save the independence of the state, leaning on the turkish population and to focus saving the turkish majority lands, which is called "Misak-i Milli". As Mustafa Kemal Pasha back then stated: "Turkish boys will not die for the Arabian deserts anymore."

The average Arab is not your enemy. The average Muslim, Arab or non-Arab, is your brother. Remember what the Prophet (SAW) said in his last sermon. Not an Arab over a non-Arab or a non-Arab over an Arab. It might feel hard sometimes, but avoid being racist. The main leaders may be silent but there are many, many Arabs sacrificing their money and lives for p@les.tine right now. The actions of their traitorous ancestors are not on their hands. May Allah help unite all the Muslims. We need unity now. The tides are turning. We have to grab this wave that the Arab p@les.tinians are sacrificing their lives for, partly to open our eyes and realize that coming back to Islam is the only solution. And coming back to Islam means abandoning racism. Don't become the monster you fight.

    @radiance2965 3 місяці тому +4

As a Muslim Turk, I would like to say that the Ottoman Empire became very corrupt during this man's time, during the nationalism movement and the tanzimat period. Look at the man called Mahmud II, for example, he was the one who made wearing a fez a law (obligation) and introduced some secular systems into the state. In our opinion, he was the ‘Gavur Padishah’. Gavur means infidel. During the reign of Abdulhamid II, he was often subjected to fitna due to parasites within the state. When these parasites brought him down, they brought the old sultan, who did not understand the state affairs, to power and destroyed the state by putting the state into the 1st world war.
Remember this; the reason for this man's rebellion may have been unjust, but the British were not so simple, they broke their promises against the possibility that this man would increase his relations with Turkey, which was the continuation of the Ottoman Empire after the war, and placed the ancestor of the House of Saud. For example, Gertrude Bell was the one who destroyed the Ottoman Empire, she created more than 20 countries out of the caliphate, she was the teacher of Lawrence of Arabia. Whenever she entered Muslim lands, she would cover herself and speak as if she was one of them. Lawrence has a saying: ‘I was so carried away that sometimes I was praying evening prayers when no one was there.' Do you see the hypocrites?
For me, the most vivid story is the story of Abdulhamid. He is a paranoid man (as it is), he does not trust anyone around him (parasites), but one day he learns about a man in a town who has knowledge of hundreds of hadiths and has lived there for years. After testing him, he calls him to him one night and the man he brought in describes it like this; ‘’The sultan called me to him and I hurriedly went to him. when they took me to the palace, he was on the balcony, his back was turned to me, he turned to me and showed me a list ‘’the list of agents he had exposed‘’, he counted the names of each of them, I waited for my name, he hugged me and said words expressing his trust, he poured his tears on my shoulder. when he finished counting names in the list, I understood that the sultan couldn't have exposed me‘’ Arminius Vambery (British Spy)
And the sultan unfortunetly give him the most mahram(private) information of the state. Our saddest and weakest period indeed... If you look at the wars of the last century and mark them, you will see that you have drawn the borders of the last caliphate, that is, the Ottoman Empire.

There are multiple errors in your video. First of all, turkification was only applied in the region called Anatolia. The Ottomans did not interfere with the internal affairs of the Arabian Peninsula, they only appointed governors, collected taxes and requested soldiers during jihad. And the seeking for independence & uprisings in the Balkans were long before the coup of the Young Turks and were generally supported by Russia. For example, Greece declared its independence long before the Young Turks.
The Ottoman Empire lost a lot of blood in the Balkans and Europe in the last century. After the French revolution, every nation in the Balkans began to revolt. The Ottomans lost many martyrs to suppress the rebellions. Essentially, the Young Turks were aware that the empire was deteriorating and they could not stop the disintegration, so they had no choice but turkification to protect Anatolia, where a large part of the population was Turkish, against such uprisings. This includes the Armenian deportation. Because Armenian gangs raided many Turkish villages in Eastern Anatolia and massacred the Turks, many mass graves belonging to the Turks were found. At that moment there was no choice other than turkification. Then the Ottoman Empire entered the First World War and became even weaker. Many Turkish soldiers were martyred to suppress the British-backed Arab uprising. Don't forget Fahreddin Pasha, who endured the siege with his soldiers, hungry and thirsty, to protect the holy lands. After all, there has been no peace in the Balkans or the Middle East for years!

It is always important for powers that are to support credible and responsible oppositions over irresponsible and incompetent ones even if that has potential of creating new challenges.
Out of all Arab people the Hashemites have been in my eyes the most respectable lots of people.
When I make that statement what comes to the picture in my memory are thr few people I had seen of surname Hashmi and I am assuming they have some connection to Hashemites.
However, while discussing this I would also like to stress again on the fact that a competent, responsible group of people mixing with or leading an incompetent, irreponsible lot will always create a dicy situation, so it is not only important to decide on the best opposition but also on the best allies or best team.
Obviously the Al-sauds had betrayed Hussain and probably that saga is still continuing.
On the part of the British it also shows continuous positions in power can also erode at human capabilities of people and make them unwise.
Fast forward to 20th century and this was again proved when America failed to support a credible leadership change by backing Mikhail Gorbachev more vigorously during the transition period over Boris Yeltsin and that has already cost us the Ukraine war and lives of many people.
Lest people think I am putting the blame on americans and british actually I am not, i am just stressing the wisdom of giving importance to responsible people within ones team and allies as well as in the iopposition , those choices turn out to be important factors during crucial situations, this also brings to light the fact that human beings with power can also become vulnerable to mistakes costing lots as when without power, the temptations to travel the easiest path will always be there and probably will be the most dicy one.
Remember history shows lot of good examples of that.
One of which is my particular favorite.
Alexander the Great had given back the Kingdom of the defeated rival King Porus of Indus river region in respect for Porus's bravery and I think I read that Porus provided valuable service as an ally of Alexander subsequently.

The question is should the ottoman empire under the control of a freemason named mustafa kamal attaturk who gave jews the permission to settle in palestine be considered the ottoman empire? I think it was the zionist puppet republic of turkey disguised under the name of the ottoman empire... Ottoman empire died way back in 1909 after mustafa kamal attaturk organised a military coup against the last real ottoman sultan abdul hamid R.A. so the arabs didn't revolt against the ottomans they revolted against the zionist puppet attaturk who did everything in his power to erase islam from turkey...

ingilizlerle birlik olup osmanlıya karşı isyan edip savaşan araplarda suç yok öyle mi? o senin yerlere göklere sığdıramadığın abdülhamid osmanlı topraklarının yarısından fazlasını sarayında otururken verdi. Sarayından çıkmadı bile. O küfür ettiğin atatürk cepheden cepheye koştu. bunları neden söylemiyorsun? İşiniz günüz yalan dolan.

I would normally say any land would want independence, but to believe that the British and the French are looking out for your best interest is just stupid.

@@verilyze independence from the Turks. That’s why I said normally it would have been fine, but the fact that he only fought the Turks believing that the British and the French are going to grant him independence was stupid.

Ottoman lost its grace when they started following the Europeans. It was Khalifate in name. The literally adopted their constitution from the Napoleonic Code in 1858 not from Sharia.

One clear and known fact is that whenever a question or a personal thought is written as a headline in a newspaper or a youtube video (as of now and here). The answer is no and not. Dear gentlemen the Sherifs of Makkah are friends of Ottomans and not subjects, so there are no treason in this situation, and afterall the only one was open for realtions with the Ottomans is the wise Sherif Hussain, Hijaz state is considered a special state that is not controled by the Ottomans and never and if there was treasons of Ottomans go look who are the traitors from their subjects not the Sherifs. The Sherifate of Makkah is a higher rank than any rank more the Sultan and they knew it. Read history and understand the facts before posting here and there and before all respect yourself as the land will not respect your rotten body when you will be buried under it.
