Ok, I am over the moon over this "hidden" trees behind the birch technique! Hubby even watched! And I now have a block with 4 sizes of dowel, for tying the ribbons and then a quick snip...and Voila!. Full bows can be a dilemma for mailing-now solved, and not near as bulky!
Hi stampinsue! Thanks for your comment. I haven't done this technique in a while - it is fun! So glad you enjoyed this video, with the sunset! Happy stamping!
Hello from a new subscriber here in England,I love this card,I have just ordered the woodland embossing folder,so I am really pleased I found your tutorial,it has given me another inspirational idea of what to do with the folder rather than just embossing with it.Thanks for sharing.
Hi Elaine. Welcome to my Serene Stamper channel and thank you for subscribing. I've been to England a couple of times - loved it there! You'll have a lot of fun with the Woodland Embossing Folder, especially with this technique. HAPPY STAMPING! ~ Tina
Hi ,Yes some parts of England are really beautiful,we have some lovely countryside areas.I am just about to order a brayer so,I think I will be having fun soon.xx
Another beautiful card!!! Another chance to see you create!!! I also appreciate all the tips that you share while you are creating the cards. Be blessed always!
Thanks Tina...I know this is an old video but I just joined Stampin Up so I' checking out different techniques. You taught me a lot in just this one video! Thanks!
OMG, Tina, that is FABULOUS!!!! So so so so pretty!!! I'm glad this video popped up for me to see! =D You are so talented and creative... I can't believe you were just goofing around and made that gorgeous card! I just love everything I see you do... Blessings to you!!!
Very nice cards Tina. Love them. The one with the different colors looks like a sunset. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely be trying this technique.
Bobbi, I only recently started to try this technique - it's pretty fun. I made a card using the truck from "Country Livin'" (Stampin' Up! set) and it looks great stamped behind the woodland embossing folder. HAPPY STAMPING! ~ Tina
Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing with us. I’ve seen the cards that were done using this technique, but they did not share how to do it. Have a blessed 2020. 😍😘❤️🥰
Hi Michelle. Thanks for your comments. They really are easy to make - it's just a matter of breaking down the steps. I have another video on my channel, showing how to get the images 'behind' the trees (stamp the images directly onto the embossing folder). Let me know you need help finding it. HAPPY STAMPING! ~ Tina
Absolutely Gorgeous! I think what would be lovely is to make the other two birds on the branches to make them pop too. what a fantastic technique...ty for sharing:)
I totally love your design, and my embossing folder came yesterday so it's from stamping up and it's really shallow to me so I tried it 5 times and I just can't get it . maybe another day will be better. your's look's amazing, tks for the video
Hello Nyoka - how did you make out with the folder? You may have to add an extra shim and/or experiment with the tabs you're using on your multipurpose platform. Hope it works for you!
@@Serenestamper I'm still working on it, not giving up, just going to work on the trees first and not stamping on the folder until I get it right, it's working so far, and I did have to add a shim, I have the big shot electric machine, and the manual work's better, so I'm sure I will get it right, tks so much for your video's. great work.
What a wonderful card! I was thinking of painting the birch trees and adding a cardinal or two. This will be so much faster for the 100 cards I need for the Holidays. I hope that folder is still available!
Awesome technique! I have to try using the different colors, making like a sunset sky behind the trees... or hey what about trying the Northern Lights technique behind the trees???? I wonder if that would work? Worth a try huh. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Bridget - thanks for your comment. The Northern Lights technique would be SO COOL behind the trees! Def going to have to try that - thanks for the idea!! Happy stamping!
Love both cards. The 2nd card with the "sunset" look to the background almost looks like a Group of Seven painting, Tina! : -) Love the tips and particularly the one with the ribbon around the WOS pen to make a small bow! Must try that! Thanks for all your sharing!
I misplaced my last phone, and my husband replaced it at Christmas. I had saved many card ideas of yours and now I'm starting over. One I really liked was Joseph's Coat. Will you please share it again? I would very much appreciate it!!!
Wow!!! Beautiful cards! Thank you for sharing your video. Have you made a video of the other card you showed at the end of this one? The background looks asesome
Hi Laura. Thanks for you comment! I didn't create a video of the other card, because it was just one I played with - I had no idea it would turn out so well! I made it the same way as the card in the video, I just used different colours. Thanks for watching and HAPPY STAMPING!
WOWSERS.! What a great technique. Still relevant 3 years later. Happy Crafting!
Thanks so much!
I have never seen your trick with the ribbon before, loved it!
Isn't it cool? I just used it in this month's card class - I had actually forgotten about it! Now I'm hooked on it again hahah!
They are both beautiful but the second one with the pinks and coral, oh my, that's outstanding. Love them both.
