New Vegas analysis
Your buddy there is using what appears to be either a plasma or multiplas rifle. They use it concurrently with ballistic weaponry. Therefore it's safe to say this is either an early or late playthrough. They're north of Black Mountain, but the only markers on their pipboy I could make out were around the strip. Plasma rifles are midgame, so it's my estimation that Benny is dead and they're doing quests for the BoS to get power armor training.
Edit: nevermind, buddy is north of the strip headed towards Jacobstown, which they've already discovered, so they're absolutely doing *Ain't Nothing But A Hound Dog*. Based on the Legion assassin (or companion with a centurion helmet), they've likely picked Lupa's brain.

I have no idea where florence got the gameplay from, but it wasnt from me. But goddamn, your analysis was spot on.
Anyways, I recently got back into new vegas and finished it by doing an unarmed build (which allowed me to 2 shot Lonesome road deathclaws)
And lastly, since I think you're cool, I'm doing a sniper build, started it today actully, and advice would be greatly appreciated.

@amioparzavel5628 get Hand Loader and Jury Rigging, makes gun builds play like Crack. Crank that luck, Perception and Agility at at least 6, and fish for light step, better criticals, finesse, etc. Try for light touch at level 2, or if you can't manage that, level 4. As for weapons, head straight for Broc Flower Cave as soon as the game starts to get Ratslayer.
@@toe_sucker_4165don't even have tell me to get rat slayer. I rushed striaght to it after the tutorial quest, spent half an hour looking for the cave once I reached there, went in, got the weapon, was chased by 12 rats at once and had to quick load atleast 8 times to survive.

Strength 5
Perception 5
Charisma 1 (I'm a literal rock)
Endurance 7
Agility 6
Also, firstly thanks for being so helpful to a stranger, and secondly, got any ideas on how to have more fun while playing new vegas. I finished almost every quest in the game on my unarmed build, so now I'm pretty much at a loss for what to do. Once again thanks.
@amioparzavel5628 do the quests you couldn't do for faction reasons, pick different options, maybe even challenge yourself to beat the game in a specific way. If none of that helps, start solving your problems with genocide. Nothing more satisfying than wiping out the BoS without using the self destruct.
