    They're called bail making pliers. You got it right. I wondered about those for looping memory wire. The typical round nose pliers love to bend or scrape off memory wire plating. Thanks so much for the tips. I ended up buying memory wire cutters so as not to ruin any other cutters.

    Lovely tutororial, thx for sharing. I would like to find the small round nose pliers but I could not quite figure out the brand name or type you said. I checked the website in the description box and there were several available. Thanks from Terry in BC

    Hi Just watched your memory wire earrings tutorial and found it simple, and easy to follow. Was so pleased that I went and twisted several loops to begin a few (lot) pairs of my own. Thank you for this great idea and I look forward to watching your other tutorials.

    Glad I found your channel ... love these earrings. I can't seem to find the tube beads you used though... Didn't see them on your link.

      Oh for the tube beads or noodle beads as they are sometimes called go to Amazon.ca for Canadians or Amazon.com for US and they’ll be there. Just type in noodle beads and you’ll find a ton of different and unique types.

    I LOVE this video! I have been working my fingers up to memory wire and I am getting there lol
    I have coated my pliers in a protective dip that keeps them from scratching the wire.
    I wanted to tell you how much this video inspired me to continue working with memory wire. Any chance you know the name of the color of the fire polished beads? They are very beautiful. Thank you

    You said wig jig pliers? Where did you buy those please? I could not find on Amazon

    • @CagedRockDesigns
      @CagedRockDesigns  2 роки тому

      Go to www.wigjig.com you will find all the tools there. They may not be exactly the same but they have nice pliers!

  • @MaryYork-py9pm
    @MaryYork-py9pm 7 місяців тому

    Why does the coating on my wire come off when I make my loops?

    • @CagedRockDesigns
      @CagedRockDesigns  7 місяців тому

      What type of tools do you use when working with this wire? Make sure you are using good quality pliers that hold the wire, if there are slips it will take off the coating. I’ve also used electrical tape wrapped around my pliers to protect the wire. I haven’t had any problems with the wire itself but it’s a good idea to get it from a craft store, if you have to get it from Amazon for instance?, make sure the reviews are positive. I hope this helps!
