He won by 3:40 , that's huge , he was 100% right to win for his team knowing visentini was not strong enough .

He was definitely the strongest rider in that Giro, but it was pretty crappy to attack his teammate the way he did. Still, Visentini was no saint, and wasn't going to win the race no matter what.
