I know it’s pretty long time since you uploaded this video, but I’m in need of help man. So point blank period my house is haunted. I live in the bottom floor by myself. My big brother used to live here with me but he has moved out. Im believing Christian and my name is Mio. I don’t wanna use the word believe, because I know god exists. Along with several different unexplainable experiences in my childhood there’s one in particular which removed all the fog surrounding faith. A few years ago I was having these minor incidents in my room (the room I’m in right now actually), it could be a jacket falling of the hanger, decoration falling out of nowhere. And I started noticing these things tend to happen when I payed attention to it, or when I was frightened. One night I was all alone, my family was a sleep and my brother wasn’t at home. I was trying to sleep but something kept me awake. Visions, dark unexplainable visions, popped up in my head, a HEAVY pressure was on top of my blanket, even tho there was nothing there. I was shaking out of fear, not knowing what to do. I started praying but it wasn’t doing it, I still had the voice of doubt in my head “I sin, why should god help me”. I started feeling pressure now being put on my body, now as If someone or something was pushing me against the wall. I hid under my blanket and prayed, prayed on my bare knees for the lords help. All of the sudden, something snapped. I saw the brightest light I had ever seen, coming down to me, shining, stronger than any flashlight. Visions of Mary, Angels and just “holiness” if it was depicted on a moving-like drawing. This incredible vision, angel or energy of god, saved me. And all of the fear was gone, completely gone. The pressure on the blanket was gone, no fear, I felt like laughing at the ghost/demon and I viewed it as a weak coward. I believe I stopped experiencing things for at least a few months. But things have now gotten worse, in the same room. I have constant nightmare, senasations of someone tapping or grabbing me all the time when I’m in this room. Fear, self-doubt, hopelessness and just every negative feeling u can imagine. It’s like, whenever u enter this room, I instantly fall down a negative spiral of negativity.
Now, what do I do about this. I’ve asked my strongly believing and experienced grandparents, but neither of their advice has really clicked for me or worked when I need it the most. I read the bible everyday, and pray for holy protection and so on. But I still have this judo gong voice saying god won’t help me because of my past sins etc. but I also have these visions of god, knowing he wants to help me. I just feel lost right now, scared, alone. And I would really need some help. Also, whenever I’m in spiritual warfare, my left ear tends to ring, extremely loudly. And as soon as it’s over, and I feel fine again, it’s gone.

I really like some of these videos. This one makes a large mistake though. Jesus did not come here to fix this world primarily. The effects of loving your neighbor which is certainly his command are dependent on being born again. I think this video does a very good job of making it clear that men can be given moral codes but they prove over and over from the beginning of time that the best moral code eventually is broken by men. We simply have proved over and over that even the best moral codes with their potential rewards do not change men. We need something more.
Jesus came to bring something conclusive that can actually change man for the better. That is regeneration first. A catastrophic change must happen in the heart of a man first and it is a supernatural event. Something from outside which reconciles him to God, implants his spirit within that man, and then causes the behavior change on the outside.
Jesus primary reason for coming to this world as God incarnate was to provide salvation for men. This is the new thing which is different from just another moral code.
Romans chapter 8 makes it crystal clear that the mind controlled by the sinful nature which is true for all men, cannot please God. No moral code brought by Jesus can change that fact and so men cannot change their behavior and eliminate oppression. Men must be born again first which changes their nature and puts the Spirit of God in them, to then be capable of being better people in this regard. After this regeneration, a renovation necessarily happens in the heart of a man. And that process called sanctification, enables and moves that man to love his neighbor which would includes not oppressing and fixing behaviors and even systems that promote oppression.
To imply or state that Jesus came here primarily to help oppressed people and fix oppressors by a new code of behavior is a gross mistake. He came here primarily and first to bring salvation. And the after effects of that would then absolutely move regenerated people to love their neighbors and have a better behavior toward all.
If we remove regeneration from the picture here, all we have is another moral code. Men have proven throughout all time that when they are giving a moral code they violate it. Jesus definitely shared a moral code but it had no power to change anyone. Regeneration must proceed renovation.

I see that this video was posted about a year ago and understand how someone from the liberal Northwest would share an attachment to Antifa, BLM and so called Wokeism theory. I hope you will agree that Black Lives Matter is a Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. If you by some stretch of the facts find these types of culture acceptable in our society you have missed the mark. Antifa and BLM are two of the most reprehensible and oppressive organizations ever conceived. The Black Lives Matters printed at the bottom of your white board only puts me at ease and reveals that the prophet is self ill advised and consumed within your own oppressive desires.

  • @refugeeca

Picking and choosing scripture to support contemporary political climate. Nice. I like how you call King David an oppressor but at least you acknowledge he was oppressed too. I'm pretty sure Jesus refused satan's offer because satan is not God and isn't to be worshiped. He didn't refuse it to avoid 'giving endorsement' to human empires and therefore a 'system of oppression.' But don't let me put words in His mouth, you can read that yourself. I'm also pretty sure that Babylon is despised by God because of wickedness, not because of oppression stemming from it. I seem to recall sexual immorality being paramount but I'm guessing you won't have any videos on that touchy subject these days since it won't grow the brand.
The biblical view being presented is a curious one. It's a similar convolution as the pacifists. No matter what the pacifists do they cannot reconcile the fact that God would surely not order sin to be committed and yet He instructs killing repeatedly in the old testament. Is there one verse showing God's disgust at one of His loyal servants for killing in doing His work? Is it in His nature to tolerate the greatest sin in pursuit of a goal? Is God Machiavellian? The common sense explanation is that it's not so simple as pacifists would have you believe and the scripture has to be taken as a hole and in context. There is such a thing as justified killing. Any honest interpretation of that commandment reads to that effect.
Just as there is justified killing there is justified force. Governments exist for a reason. If Babylon doesn't get God's approval for it's wickedness, why does God approve of any government or give any right of anyone to govern over anyone else as He definitely does in every sense of the way several times? Is God secretly opposed to such things all along? No, his own is a Kingdom. Just because humans cannot do it perfectly does not make it inherently evil. Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's but I guess nowadays it's cooler to sit down and have a conversation on who deserves what based on their victim status.
God does not change for popularity's sake. That whole thing about not being 'of the world' might bear restudying when you find yourself stretching scripture to support literal rage, hysteria, and division.

    • @OverviewBible

There's a good deal of discussion to be had regarding the Old Testament imperatives for genocide, to be sure. Alas, this isn't my full-time job-and to your point about popularity, I can't make everyone happy. ;-)
I find it funny when people assume the content of this video makes me "cooler," or gains "popularity," or will "grow the brand." If I were out to do any of these things, I'd be publishing different content entirely.

You’re asking a lot of questions only God can answer. Have you sought out the answers to your questions in earnest unto God? If so, what did He say?
The Kingdom of Heaven does not look anything like the kingdoms of the earth, so of course God is going to find fault with the methods within them, like oppression which is specifically what this video is about. Did God not send Moses to set the oppressed free? Wasn’t Jesus sent to set all of mankind free?
Is it not perfectly logical to decide who deserves what based on their “victim status” ? Is that not how justice works? Of course it is. This is inherently the point of having a “justice system” in the first place.
It appears that you’re trivializing what it means to be a victim of oppression, and perhaps that’s because you do not identify with it personally, but this does not mean it is not a valid issue to contest. As a matter of fact, God expects us to be against oppressive systems, as we’ve seen time and time again throughout the Bible, which is the main point that this video is making. Hypothetically speaking, if you yourself are not actively against oppression, and perhaps all for it, then who do you think this benefits and pleases?
When you say that there are “justified killings”, you’re dismissing the fact that there are also unjustified killings. For example, Cane slew Abel and we observe this as an unjustified killing respectively. Do you have anything specifically against people who protest against unjustified killings of the people in their communities? People who protest their oppression? What exactly is wrong with that? Are people supposed to sit idly by and allow it to keep happening? Because to me, that’s the true definition of someone who “wants to be a victim”.
A common issue people face when seeking justice is that people from the outside looking in are susceptible to victim-blaming, when in reality nobody “wants to be a victim” unless there’s mentally something wrong with them; I’m not being facetious here. No one wants to get bullied. No one wants to be sexually harassed. No one wants to be enslaved. No one wants to be oppressed. It is not the fault of the oppressed that they are oppressed. So unless you have reasonable suggestions as to how else the oppressed should respond to such, I don’t think anything you have to say on the matter would be conducive to helping them, and perhaps that is not where your interests lie anyway.
Lastly, what “brand” do you think this channel is trying to grow exactly? I’m just wondering because it’s not like this channel gets millions of views consecutively and are doing sponsored videos every time they post like all the popular channels do on UA-cam.

@@honey-fo6ro Your first paragraph is agreeable but your next ones kind of contradict it. This page is not 'that' popular because liberal atheists don't tend to support Christian channels while Christians tend to support Christian channels.
To be assigned victim status you do not actually have to be a victim of any of that. Michael Brown was not a victim. The victim was the officer forced to kill him with whom the lynch mobs formed against to destroy. The victimizers are those who perpetuate it, wherever they are. So many of these cases show the exact same pattern. The inability of humans to judge does not excuse you from judging against the evidence laid out freely within the court systems. You do not get to choose what is oppression and what is not. The ignorance among certain segments of the population is astonishing in magnitude. They are in no position to judge or assign statuses when they themselves are completely engorged in a single world view and completely blind to any other while assigning exclusive victim rights the highest bidder.
Power-hungry political movements that are fundamentally anti-Christian can become as popular as they want, that doesn't make them Christian.

    • @honey-fo6ro
      @honey-fo6ro 4 роки тому +2

@@refugeeca No, I did not contradict myself because I was not asking questions only God can answer, I was asking you for your personal opinion. I know I asked a lot of questions, but you didn’t really answer any of them, so I’m still interested to know your thoughts.
Hate to break it to you, but I am not the one who “decided” who is oppressed and who is not. As a matter of fact, research based sciences like psychology and sociology have defined exactly what oppression is. They have defined that in the United States, black people have been oppressed since the inception of this country. Oppression doesn’t just disappear into thin air, especially when you consider the fact that enslaved people of African descent were never supposed to be free. This is why oppressive laws followed Emancipation, to keep black people bound. It wasn’t until 50 years ago that these overtly racist laws were ruled unconstitutional. There is much to be said about the more nuanced operations that still perpetuate racism, and require a bit of discernment to understand them beyond what we may see on a surface level. Some other oppressed groups include Native Americans and women. Native Americans are still forced to live on reservations to this day. And women are *still* fighting for their civil rights. Again, I did not decide this, but fact-based evidence has proven this. Just because you may have a hard time accepting these things for what they are, does not mean that you yourself have the authority to decide who is and isn’t oppressed. If there are people from the U.S. who don’t know anything about the oppressed groups in their country, I’d have to agree with you that certain segments of the population are indeed ignorant.
I don’t know who you’re referring to that was assigned victim status who was not a victim. I find it incredible that people will bring up Michael Brown to refute BLM like his crime of petty theft deserved the consequence of death. He was only 18 years old, and he should have been given his day in court, and then suffered the consequences of his actions in that regard. Police involvement in any crime is only supposed to be during the first stage of the processing of criminal cases. They do not have the authority to thwart due process, yet they’ve infringed upon this right of far too many black Americans. Michael may not have been innocent, but he was certainly a victim of police brutality as his life was taken unnecessarily.
At the same time, people will disregard how Breonna Taylor, an essential worker who was only 25 years old, was shot and murdered in her home for a crime that she did not commit. They’ll say “her boyfriend shot at the police first” but her boyfriend was performing his American right to protect his property with his licensed firearm, as he believed that at the time of the “no-knock” raid being conducted they were being robbed. The worst part, only one of the officers involved faced charges, but not for taking Breonna’s life, but rather for endangering the lives of her neighbors who are still alive. Those who support the 2nd amendment who automatically took the side of the police could seriously afford to take a look in the mirror.
They’ll disregard how Ahmaud Arbery was jogging in his own neighborhood when two armed white men decided to take matters into their own hands and murder him because they allegedly *thought* he was a suspect of burglary, despite there being no evidence that he was the culprit. And not only that, his mother waited two and half months for Glynn County PD of Georgia to arrest the two suspects- one of them a former police officer of the same PD. NPR has an article about the shady history of GCPD, including not meeting basic policing standards so they lost their certiication at one point. I digress. The only reason they were arrested is because Attorney General Chris Carr, asked the Department of Justice to conduct an investigation into Ahmaud Arbery’s case. His mother was told by one of the district attorneys before the DOJ’s involvement that the actions of the McMichaels was “perfectly legal”. Now they’re in prison so I guess that district attorney was wrong. The former police officer and suspect, Gregory McMichael, called the police on a black man who was allegedly running into a house that was under construction nearly 2 weeks prior to the incident, claiming there had been a lot of burglaries in their neighborhood. According to GCPD, there was only one confirmed robbery since the beginning of the year to the day of Arbery’s death on February 23rd. Likely, the man he was referring to was Arbery, who went on daily jogs in his neighborhood because he enjoyed running and keeping in shape. During their trial, it was revealed in court that his son, Travis McMichael, had sent text messages with racial eptithets like “slant eyed f***s” and “crackhead c**n”. Clearly, these men are racist, and at the very least are unconsciously biased towards people of African descent.
What about how people disregard the fact that a 12 year old child, Tamir Rice, who was throwing snowballs at his friends and playing with a toy gun was fatally shot by Timothy Loehman of the Cleveland PD. Loehman faced no charges and no consequences for the murder of an innocent child. Instead, Loehman was fired 2 years later for submitting false information on his application. Police departments across America are riddled with instances of excessive force that have often lead to the deaths of black people.
Not only is It is erroneous to assume that people are protesting for the sake of some political scheme and because they want to protect “criminals,” but it is illogical, insensitive, and completely misses the point of what these protests truly mean. No amount of “politics”, settlement money, or apologizing can bring the loved ones lost back. Anyone who wields a weapon when the other person is unarmed automatically assumes the power in any situation. You simply should not become a cop if you’re afraid of dying; this is the chance you take when you sign up. I have a lot of respect for police who aren’t afraid to die for doing what they believe to be right, because obviously there are “good ones” out there. However, I have absolutely zero respect for police officers who abuse their position- as Derick Chauvin did for many years for example- because it becomes clear to me that you chose this line of work for the wrong reasons. This is proven through links found between police officers and white supremacy groups. I feel like I have to say this, but obviously not all police officers are white supremacists. But let’s not forget the history of policing in the U.S., being that the first PD’s literally called themselves “Slave Catchers” or “Slave Patrol”- their titles matched their job description respectively. This is enough to make any black person leery and frightened by the potential motivations of the police.
BLM is about the lives of those that were taken at the hands of police brutality. BLM is about getting JUSTICE for those families whose loved ones were murderered when they should not have been. It’s about holding the officers accountable who took a life that can never be replaced. So yes, some of the people we march for may have had a criminal history, or they may have committed a crime, but none of them deserved to die at the hands of police. We don’t know what people go through and what causes them to make the decisions in life that they make, but if they get involved in something they shouldn’t have, they deserve the chance to rectify their situation because we are are all God’s children and He loves us all regardless of all the bad choices and mistakes we make. Technically we all deserve to die for our sin, but God decided that we deserved a second chance, so who are we to deny this to our brothers and sisters? Most importantly, BLM is about the innocent. All of the children whose parents are going to grieve for the rest of their days, all of the mothers and fathers whose children are going to grieve for the rest of their days, all of the brothers and sisters whose families will not have the opportunity to watch them grow into productive members of society. 93% of the BLM protests were peaceful, yet the media has demonized the movement in its entirely.
Systemic and institutionalized racism is the true culprit in all of this. This paradigm has been built into the foundation, the very fabric of America. You cannot fix a problem without tearing down its foundation. This is why countries built on colonialism, genocide, and slavery perpetuate racism on a daily basis.

This immediately makes me think of the way our founding fathers in America turned down the opportunity to follow the same tyranny they left and made available a system decided by the people. I think more and more we can follow their example as well as many biblical leaders. Thanks for all you do with your videos!

And yet neglected every opportunity to end slavery and actively engaged in genocidal warfare against the indigenous nations

@@dannyramos2358 What a typical ignorant statement. Each state could have seceded at the drop of a hat. You should consider reading about about how much negotiation actually went into persuading colonies to join. Even more comical that you've completely forgotten about the civil war. When Republicans did finally push for abolition, it forced the country into a brutal civil war. What magic would you have been capable of if you were in congress 200 years ago to end slavery and keep the nation together?
And on the subject of the natives? What genocide are you taking about? Genocide is defined as "the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or social group." The last time I checked, 90-95% of the natives tragically died from disease. What part of that was "intentional and systematic?"

16 Oh, wash yourselves! Be clean! Let me no longer see you doing all these wicked things; quit your evil ways. 17 Learn to do good, to be fair, and to help the poor, the fatherless, and widows.
18 Come, let’s talk this over, says the Lord; no matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can take it out and make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you white as wool! 19 If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!

Oppression is worldwide human behavior that doesn't just happen to one pacific race, politics, gender ore age. USA isn't the center of the world and as person from small independent island were when growing up, in the 1970's, almost all were related and looked the same and still there was Oppression found this talk intresting. Roots of human Oppression started perhaps with never wanting to experience shame again by doing exactly that to others.
