This has also been my experience as an engineer at Boeing. There is so much opportunity to grow and learn and experience. And yes, the smartest people in the world there to share their knowledge with you.
@@baddestmofoalive Yes, its unfortunate that a few bad actors could cause this shift to happen. Though these are the hard lessons we need to learn from. @@nickolliver3021 I don’t think I will. What Boeing did that led up to the accident was horrific. The actions Boeing took after the accidents’ fallout were downright despicable.
@@baddestmofoalive haha should everyone attack airbus for hiding the truth about a350 issues? we all know what Boeing did was a mistake. Its not the end of the world for them at all. they are going nowhere
My 16 year old daughter won last year's MTA's national finals TDI competition despite being up against some 19 year old university students. She's currently in sixth-form studying for her A levels so could anyone advise how she should go about starting a career with a company like Boeing?
What’s better for my future, studying aeronautical engineering since the day one , or studying mechanical engineering and after that study a master on aeronautical?
if you only want to do "Aeronautics," do aeronautical. If you want to be able to do MORE broad engineering, go mechanical. But yes, you can do mechanical and take aeronautical courses at your school (if offered). You can always complete your first 2 years of classes because mechanical and aeronautics courses should be the same for the first 2-3 years, then you can decide which you want to major in specifically. You can really do anything with mechanical though. You can also get a minor in aero. there's so many options between the 2 for how you could do it.

Engineering is a Unique career especially if you work at Boeing. You get to work on amazing airplanes that somehow have several malfunctioning parts 🤣 Boeing engineering will always be inferior to Airbus.
Hes probably on a grad scheme, they move people every 6 months to a new role. If anyone says they know their career path in their 20s, they are probably wrong or lying to themselves.
He did internships and maybe he got in the rotation program in those internships, or after graduation. Boeing has like a 2-3 year rotation program in internships and after college graduation. You automatically become a level 2 engineer when you complete the rotation program after graduation.
I am currently in engineering studies, truly want to work for a company like Boeing !
You don't have what it takes.
Go for it as having thus desire must very a good virtue that Boeing look favourably upon.
@bird9 you wont get it is difficult to get those jobs very challenging and experienced required no corruption

Too bad all the upper management’s decisions to place profits ahead of safety have tarnished Boeing’s good name so badly.

The same people who designed the 737 MAX...
Did they fix the 737 max?
yes

Mechanical engineering. Get a solid engineering foundation. You can still choose elective courses related to Aero later.
