I noticed my student had a Rhodia notepad today so I showed her the Uni Jetstream blue sampler pack I got. She said, “I feel so seen! People usually make fun of my stationary obsession.” Yay JetPens for helping people feel less alone in the world!
Re: monthly subscription boxes, you can treat yourself to new and personalized stationery supplies by just ordering $35 of products from JetPens after watching these helpful videos. I love the speed and accuracy provided by the JetPens team, so I hope they continue to focus on what separates them from Amazon: ability to order individual items rather than sets, exceptional customer service, and informative videos that introduce me to unique and new products I can then order for myself every month. This is also far more sustainable than subscription boxes, which include a lot of unnecessary stuff.
Jetpens customers are the people who always have the best toys, which others always want to "borrow". Don't let them walk away from your desk, or you'll never see your stuff again. They "forget" what they did with it. I used to keep cheap supplies on my desk for the borrowers, and my good stuff in my top drawer.
Omg, I feel seen, I put BIC ballpoints and pencils on my desk for the borrowers, so I won't feel upset if I lose them. Then keep my so called over engineered pens and pencils in a pencil case in my bag, got to keep 'em save 😂😂😂 for sure
@@aureliaolivia2296 Having something in common with someone does not make you "seen," it means you have something in common with someone and can potentially strike up a friendship.
My husband is always coming to me asking "Do you have something that can 'this'?" (referring to stationery kind of stuff). I always have something that does exactly what he needs. Next time I should tell him to thank JetPens.
I bought the full set, and I love how the colors are simple and charming! My favorite is the camel yellow, a golden yellow-orange color!❤ Notetaking has never been more enjoyable!
I adore Sarasa! I have been using gel pens for a long time and decided to try these last year...the ink colors are so fabulous. The staff's recommendation was spot on! A super smooth writing experience for an incredible price. The pen is just the thing for my Journaling because I write fast and hate to get a smudge. ALWAYS look forward to your videos😍💚
Might I suggest an alternative to the Tombow Mono Graph Shaker to those who looooove to use the mechanical pencil's eraser that surprised me a lot? Get a Tombow Mono Graph One. The eraser in this model can be easily swapped with a Pentel Click eraser refill. All you need to do is cut the refill in thirds and stick it to the mechanical pencil, ta-dah! New eraser as the day you bought it! This trick only serves on the model Mono Graph One model though, so if you get the Shaker model, you'll need to buy the eraser refill packs though ♡
@@lainiwakura1776 this tip isn't meant to be easier, it's meant to be easier on the pockets/wallets. Because the refills for Pentel Click Eraser Pen is less expensive than the ones for Mono Graph Shaker, are of similar erasing quality (though I found that they leave less dust) *and* are thicker than than the eraser from the Shaker model. So for the people who use a lot of eraser, this may be a viable, money-saving hack on the long run, since the pack of eraser refills for Mono One and Mono Shaker only comes with 3-4 erasers and is around 25% more expensive than the Pentel Click refills. (I know for a fact about this, because I have both models of mechanical pencils and, as an artist of 15 years, found that this is a good tip for people who are okay with Frankensteining some of their supplies. This doesn't cause any damage to the Mono One model at all. But, like I said, *this is a hack for Mono One only*. This doesn't work with Mono Shake.
Honestly, you can't go wrong with almost any of the Japanese-made notebooks, I've found, even with most fountain pen nibs and ink, and it's fantastic. $2 Apica? Great! $15+ Midori MD notebook (my favorite)? Great! I just don't buy US branded paper anymore, half the time it feathers with my super-fine gel pens (.38 usually, Uni usually).
AIM black erasers are excellent; erase well, little dust, and don't harden (mine is from 2015). Uni JetStream writes well, has a nice feel, and is well built; an excellent daily driver.
I have so many things on my wish list. If I got a gift card, I'd add yet another fountain pen to my collection - the Kaweco Perkeo in green or peony. I fell down the rabbit hole of JetPens by buying a Kakuno for my son. I love cheap fountain pens, but I also love my Waterman and Pelikan.
I have two Westcott erasers like that Staedler , except they have nylon bristles to brush away eraser bits. I love them so much. They're not as fancy but neither am I.
I wish I knew about you guys while I was in high school but I’m excited to get my Pilot Otobaco pen case, sunstar pen style stapler and the pilot birdy switch pens!
I love the colors of the Zebra Sarasa Clip Vintage pens but the ink of these pens has a bothersome chemical odor to it, which the standard Sarasa Clip pens have as well. The Pentel EnerGel pens don't seem to have any odor and the Pentel 0.5mm needle tip writes more smoothly than the scratchy 0.5mm tip of the Sarasa pens.
I own both types of Zebra pens mentioned and have never noticed an odor and I have a very sensitive nose. I've never heard this before. I wonder if anyone else experienced the same thing. Pentel Energel pens are great but I am not a big fan of how they look so I don't have many.
@@salamaat Interesting... When I first noticed it I was sitting at a normal distance to my desk where I was writing down notes and I was worried that some component in my computer was overheating / burning or if it was the paper I was writing on but it was neither of those. I eventually traced the odor to the ink in the Zebra pens after sniffing a blank page and a page that was written on with the ink. The Pentel EnerGel ink cartridges fit in the Zebra Sarasa Clip (standard and vintage) pen bodies if you like those more.
Yass! Do you remember me jetpens? I'm Sophia hahhahah. Also on Thursday can you do a video like this but with fountain pens? Ofc you don't have to, just thought it would be fun
I must disagree with the recomendation of the tombow mono graph shaker. TLDR; Very noisey not be usable in a library or exam, would not say it is fit for use. Get the Mono Graph Lite instead. The shaker mechanism is very loud, even when just writing. I used it 3 times in a library and was 'shuushed' 2 times, and I used it in an exam was given a pencil by the inviglator as it was bothering others, felt self conscious to use it in an office. You can lock it, but if you lock it when the tip is facing down the weight still moves and makes a fair bit of noise. To lock it silently you have to invert the pen so the tip is facing up. Additionally using the clip button will unlock the shaker, so if you wish to use the pen silently every time you extend the lead you would have to totally invert the pencil and relock it. The Tombow Mono Graph Lite is cheaper with a slightly worse eraser (but still above average), and uses a top button rather than a shaker, but it is actually usable.
umm so this maybe weird but can we get this in india? and if we do then can weget this in rupees of the currency in india? pls tell me if its possible bc i loveee the products
Depending on the paper you are using you should try fountain pens if you don't already have one. I can always recommend the Platinum Preppy, at less than 6$.
I can definitely second the Uni-ball Signo and the Platinum Preppy recommendations. Preppy even comes in an extra fine nib that writes in a similar line width to the Pilot Hi-Tec-C 0.4mm gel pens I have, maybe a little thicker. If you're looking for a ballpoint pen, the Uni Jetstream is definitely a solid choice. It was in their suggestions for the $35 tier and honestly, writing with the Jetstream feels like writing with a gel pen. If you want something to make nice headers and designs, the Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens are pretty nice and come in a wide variety of colors, though they're not very good for excessive, regular writing.
Strange that Sarasa pens always show up here because in my experience they skip a lot and don’t last long (if you don’t use them within a month, the ink dries up and it doesn’t write anymore)
