I've ever seen people sand the color paint before. They usually sand the primer and then the clear. Bike looks good. My frame is primed up right now waiting for some other stuff to come in before I continue on.
sanding color paint depends on the type you are using
solid colors is ok to sand even without clear coat, sand scratches won't be that visible
but special colors like mettalic, candy etc. is a big no if you're gonna sand it, better apply clear first before sanding to protect the paint

Great video. I have a question, what's your first primer before epoxy do it primer. And if i dont have epoxy do it primer then what's could do as alternative. I have only samurai paint around here. Thankss

from bare aluminum, I used Do it 1k Epoxy Primer,
Samurai paint also has 2k Epoxy Primer which is more expensive compared to ordinary primers
