Let me tell you about this epic 11 mile journey a few friends took up a mountain and back.

Lookout Mountain straddles the border between Tennessee and Georgia and makes an awesome spot for bike camping thanks to a few connecting trails. A whopping 22 miles round trip led to one of the chillest, most fun overnighters I've had in a long time.
This trip was a much shorter version of a 60 mile round trip overnighter we had previously taken from Chattanooga to Cloudland Canyon State Park via the Cloudland Connector Trail which includes the Nickajack Trail which links up to Moonshine trails which can be reached via some roads on the top of the mountain after the Guild Trail from the St. Elmo neighborhood.
Anyway, we saw some waterfalls, carried some stuff onto a cool cliff overlook and slept outside. Can't wait for the next one.
