Sandoval's double decade was best trick pulled in all the runs - but Paraza put it together really well with his runs and pulled the win. Way to go Kevin!
He is definitely a role model. So many people would have given up after that kind of injury. They told him he wasn't ever going to ride, but look at him now! A quadriplegic who not only gets around on his own two feet, but one who can get on a bike again! He's an inspiration.
@Nocx Kai lol I'm aware they don't go all out for 20 mins straight it's 45 second intervals that they ride in and are judged upon but the time spent on the side is still in the sun and all I saw him doing is chug monster energy drinks, which do NOTHING to hydrate your body so that diminished energy won't be returned, despite what MONSTER has you believe. There's a reason athletes aren't chugging monster on the sidelines of NFL games because it does bunk to help you athletically. In fact, I would argue it speeds up your metabolism and gets you tired faster.
It's too bad he slipped the pedals and didn't get anything in his last 15 seconds. Probably would have contended if he finished that run. The double decade was killer though

I also follow FISE closely and am a big fan of Rantes work ethic and attidute. This is good exposure for Marin Hes a former FISE Champion and in America not to many people are aware of who he is. Heck most people dont know who Justin Dowell is and He's representing 🇺🇸 in the Olympics. Great XGames this year!
There are many xgames "rookies" who are highly accomplished in other tournament and contest settings. Honestly, most of them are. You dont make it to the pinnacle without reaching the top of the game in other arenas. but i take your point and hear where youre coming from. Hes not a rookie as far as professionals go, but hes an xgames rookie. It can seem odd that an accomplished pro is in his first xgames and thus called a rookie in that sense.

It is not a piece of candy your BMX tricks are better than that. No they wont get kids in a van but kids will just mess up the van so supermodels for the photoshoot will do !
When the Xgames calls you and says can we party in your backyard and since we all there might as well have an event you know you made the right move back when you were 10 and propped the backyard gate up on the trashcans and said watch this. Sorry mom and dad. Back in the 80s my mom is talking to my dad.....oh and the gate is falling apart again and the trash truck crushed ANOTHER trash can. Meanwhile my dad is alternating looking at my mom, me, my bike with blue tires, the blue tire marks on the fence, me again and back to my mom with somewhat of a pissed off but amused smile on his face..........
This is the style of course we need back for park, not that bowl you guys have had for a couple years now. You see so much diversity in these style of courses compared to a bowl course where there is limited tricks to do.
