- The first no major mistakes run that I got, I played pretty well and I'm really happy with this result, I want to improve this to a :1x or something similar but it's kinda hard now. I had 2 important mistakes, one in Komodo Joe and the other one with Papu's Pyramid, everything else it's good in this run, maybe the only thing where you can save some useful time should be in both Roo's Tubes, Dingo Canyon and Tiger Temple.

Here I am, thinking my times are incredibly good and you crush most of them by at least a few seconds. I think the only acception is Crash Cove, but even then, you beat my PB by .40 seconds. You are insane lol, gg's

It’s horrible to do speedruns of this game because of it, failing at the start is waiting 6 minutes to try it again
GGs, insane run. This will be hard to beat but you can do it for sure. The obvious time save is Roo's just because of how insane that track is. Do you think you would ever try the HAS shortcut? With how late it is in the run and how hard that probably is especially with nerves it would be crazy but also amazing.

It’s a technique called “Polswid” here’s the explanation:
U-turn is another popular tech that allows you to do better turns and a better control of your kart movement, but another thing about U-turn is that (for some reason) it helps to maintain your current speed.
If you combine U-turn and a strong speedghost things become ridiculous and you can maintain the SG speed.
But the problem is that it was to hard to control it with just u-turning, so the solution was just holding X too and that’s the history in a short way.
(To do polswid you need to hold X, Square, down dpad and always pressing left or right, if you stop pressing one of those, your speed will be decreased)

Yeah that beaker scared me xD and I think the cut in has is really worth it but I prefer to do that when I only can save time with that because I know if I try that I will messed up. Thanks crack 💜

Choo gran speedrun su like y su sub, una consulta ese speedghost es demencial hermano. Según veo depende de una pared pero luego te dejas llevar mientras haces froggy o aprietas algún botón extra?
Oo te refieres a speedghost como el de roos tubes, coco park, dingo canyon?
@@martiniov Exacto hahaha si el speedghost tal cual por ej de roos tubes, no es como en ctr ps1 que te dejas llevar por una colina y el speedghost aparece, aqui en ps4 necesitas de una pared pero podrias aclarar como se produce?
@@ryt-sientelalibertadfree8269 Ahh entiendo, pues la explicación es que las bajadas sin reservas (fuego en el kart) te suelen dar un impulso así como si te subieras a un tobogán. Sucede que existe una técnica que te permite mantener la velocidad que obtienes durante un tiempo prolongado, se llama “Polswid” (es el zig zag que ves) esto ayuda a mantener dicho impulso de la bajada y prolongarlo por más tiempo. Si no te quedo claro o tienes otra duda solo dime!

@@ryt-sientelalibertadfree8269 hay distintos tipos de speedghost, el de roos tubes necesitas de una bajada y chocar antes de tocar el piso, con eso ganarás una velocidad tremenda y esa velocidad la puedes prologar tocando los pads y chocando con paredes. Otros tipos de speedghost como el de Coco Park y Dingo Canyon utilizan una pared que te impulsa si chocas en ella con un ángulo específico, luego el resto es hacer polswid y abusar de bajadas para ganar más velocidad.

Yeah there's a lot of stuff going on, and no, there's not a guide to speedrun this but I have been seen some people who wants to know more about this game, probably I will do some explanations about techniques and more!

Yeah sure! It will take some time to do but I have plans on doing commentary videos about this game. But if you are interested in that shaking trick, you can find that tech on UA-cam by the name of Polswid, there’s some videos talking about that technique if you want to know more without waiting for my video
Can we just edit out the loading screens in these runs?
I discussed this with some members and might be fine if you upload the unedited run and put the link in the description, I will try to give an enjoyable run with less loading screen soon
@@martiniov Yeah I feel like there should be versions where loading screens are edited out of the video alongside the actual run for every speedrun (unless the loading times are short enough)
1:12:40 - how did the normal turbo turned to sacred fire here ?
It’s a unique turbo pad in the game, we don’t know the reason of it but it might be like that because if you go with blue fire, probably you would hit a wall or something. That pad prevents that from happening (at least that’s my theory)

I'm surprised it's possble to do this fast as many of the original shortcuts are not working in NF. Or is it due to the loading screens not counting?
A lot of old shortcuts doesn’t work here, like the old Oxide Station skip or the Hot Air Skyway skip too

It’s a tech called “Polswid” you can find some explanation and how it works on UA-cam, but a fast explanation, the polswid tech is used to keep your speed for a determined time, you can use it with speedghosts, off roads, etc.

It’s a tech called “Polswid” you can find some videos about it on UA-cam but a little explain is that you can maintain the speed of the speedghost with a combination of buttons.

can you give me some tips on how I can improve in this game just overall?
Play a lot, try to learn every technique and also I recommend to play with analog and remapping for u-turning and polswid (this depends of each person but I think it’s better to play with analog) have fun playing it and try to beat personal records or try to find goals to achieve in every track. Also is a good idea to have an account in the ctranking page to upload your times and with that you can see where you need to improve more.

@@ashrafzaki4220 it’s because how they feel playing with it, but I’m saying this objectively, I played a year with both and I think is better to play with analog, cause you can do polswid easily, you don’t have problems of cancelling reserves that constantly, you can do smooth movements like a strong or slow one and this helps to do turns more precisely or dodge hit orbs.
But at the end it’s just your preference, but I recommend to new players always to play with analog.

ps4 -> ps4 pro -> Xbox One -> ps5 -> Xbox Series S
