i used liquid fence , does the best job to keep the deer and rabbits away but not so good for other critters. i also use owl decoys, they seem to work pretty good, I've found if you get an owl decoy that makes noise (motion sensing) it does a lot better.

I built a plywood box a little larger than a live trap. When the uninvited guest succumbs to the temptation of the goodies in the live trap I place it in the box, fire off a gas pellet, close the lid and in 5 minutes he/she is in a parallel universe cavorting with the gender of its' choice and I get to keep my garden produce.

Have tried a few 'ultrasonic pest repellers'; completely useless. Had an electronic owl too...would twist and turn, eyes lit up, would make a 'hooting' sound. Found squirrels and raccoons would buddy right up next to it while they munched away in the yard. So far, pellet gun is the most successful varmint reducer.

Any repellant for raccoons? Over grown rodents!

I don't know for sure because I haven't ever had to deal with those garbage pandas. I doubt the spray repellant would work very well. I wonder if the ultrasonic repellant would work.

How about getting a REAL snake? We (living in Texas) had a Texas Rat Snake that lived in our garden shed for a number of years, and he took care of business. He scared the hell out of the “natives” when he crossed the street, though, they would be frantically knocking on our door when they saw him. Harmless to humans, what’s up with that. Run scared, bunny, run scared.
