- This early morning sunrise at Kolukkumalai is a once in a lifetime experience. A lot of videos, pictures and reels surfaced lately from this scenic spot and during my recent trip to Kerala, I decided to pay a visit and witness the beauty myself. Honestly, the views here are breathtaking and as beautiful as they look in the pictures and videos. You should definitely not miss visiting this place if you ever happen to be in Munnar

Just saw your video. It’s an excellent video truly showing the beauty. I have some questions, after you get off the jeep, how long is the walk to the view point and what is the elevation gain of the walk or is it basically flat. Also can you bring a tripod and is there a camera fee? I am visiting next month. Thanks
The view point is just about 200-300 steps from the Jeep Drop. Elevation is hardly anything. It’s basically flat. And you can get all your gear without having to pay any fee

Hi I am from Bangladesh and planning to visit kolukkumalai tiger rock to see sunrise with my wife and 4 years baby.
After reaching at end point through Jeep, whats the distance we have to walk? Is the walking path very narrow ( as there will be kid with me)
Hi, the walk is short. Around 500m that's it. Btw, the jeep ride is extremely rough due to off road. So travel only with utmost care with your kid.

We had booked it through Zostel. But you can easily book it through your stay guys or from the auto drivers. They have leads
