Hareshaw Linn and Tea on a Train - 29/05/2023

There has been a tearoom in the Mark I railway carriages at Bellingham Station Yard, outside the Heritage Centre since 2012. The carriages belong to the Heritage Centre who took over the running of the tearoom in March 2022. Thus Tea on the Train was born. All profits from Tea on the Train are gifted to the Heritage Centre for re-investment.
Our Mark 1 railway Carriages make for a different setting. The Carriages, although painted in the livery of the original Border Counties line (Blood and Custard) never ran on this line. They are in fact converted for third rail electrification and used to run between Bournemouth and Southampton.
