- Thank you everyone for your advice! I really appreciate it!! I decided to listen to y'all and head out today to see if I could grab those NECA Ninja Turtles figures from EB Games AND check out Toys r Us because I know a few of you messaged me saying the He-man Mega Construx are available there :)
Any thoughts on the Mega Construx Castle Grayskull?? I am quite shocked it's $299 canadian to be honest -has anyone purchased one yet??

I would hate to pay $300 for a toy castle but Castle Grayskull it will just go up in value
That seems a little high. Walmart.com advertised it for $199 not long ago.

We lost them here in Finland too. 😞
The thing is Toys R Us was only really good when they did their clearance blowouts once or twice a year in the U.S. Otherwise everything was an MSRP-a-thon and not worth it. Same with Kmart and Sears, both of which are all but gone by me now. I scored so many gaming deals from them over the years.
Don't be too jealous, the two near where I live barely keep anything stocked. They're essentially just a large toy section at walmart.

Picking up those NECA Turtles was a great choice. I’d rank them as one of the greatest figures ever made at that scale, and that includes some of the more fancypants imported toys. Keeping them sealed will retain their aftermarket value (these things definitely will go up after stock dries up), but if you plan on keeping these in your personal collection, these figures need to be opened to be fully appreciated. NECA really went all out with this set. The quality of materials and design are a cut above any of their other releases. There’s a surprisingly good range of motion and it takes very little effort to get a variety of natural-looking poses. They look and feel like premium figures that could’ve been sold at 3 times the retail price.

those NECA 1990 tmnt guys come in waves on Gamestop but they are SO HARD to get ahold of if not. I patiently waited and got them for $23 a piece :) they're beautiful figures, you won't regret getting 'em

OMG!!! $299 CAN? I was so tempted to get some of them when I was at SDCC earlier this year, but passed since I put down a mortgage on Snake Mountain 😭 I'll wait for a sale on Mega Constructs. Sloppy Paint seems to be a thing these days, My She-Ra Figure came out "ALMOST" perfect, but there's just something about her eyes I can't get over 😖

I got my NECA Movie Turtles back in February. I hit a SNAFU with GameStop, where I pre-ordered them last year. The order was cancelled for some reason, and I had also just moved to a new state, so I didn't know where the GS stores around there were. However, after some heavy researching of my new area, I found Leo and Don first at a local GS, then got Mike and Raph at another GS. I GOT THEM ALL, DEAR! For good measure, I ended up going online and ordering the old NECA sets based on the arcade game. Sadly, I could not find the Target-exclusive NECA sets based on the cartoons out in the wild. Thanks for reading all this if you have, Ms. Legends.
My Dad gave me the NECA turtles for my birthday. Been such as fan of those 3 films since the VCR days of the 1990's.

I love the NECA turtles! Pretty sure the ones displaying on the box are the bigger versions but still cool!! It sucks living in the U.K. - you don’t get the heat man stuff as easily without paying over the roof prices- for one it’s hard to through paper money over the roof.

Yeah I got a set a couple months ago. They're readily available on GameStop's website here in the states. I have them opened and posed in front of a VHS copy of the original movie.

Here in Québec, its 10 below zero with 2 feet of snow, Dante is not the only one who is depress :(....but i just watch the 1st 2 ep. of the Mandalorian and that made me happy :) especially the...thats kinda of a spoiler, so i wont said it.
Congrats on getting the Neca Turtles...if I were you, I'd leave them in the box. As the MEGA Construx Castle Greyskull in my mind it's worth the money, my sweetie bought one and he LOVES it!! He has the whole set of the MOTU Construx and he'll get everything else that comes out in that line. You really need to get windshield wipers for your glasses, but in the coast you should know that "You don't TAN, You RUST!" Have a great day.
ok good -- I've had a few people say leave in box so I feel really good about not opening them now! DARN I really need to get on this Mega Construx train! Hey Laura new to your channel love your awesome personality. Just want to tell you today Amazon.ca has the Castle GreySkull on special. It was $299.99 CAD but the price has dropped to $210.20 CAD. Just want you to know so you can get it for a lower price. By the way the NECA Movie Turtles tend to have defects so please be aware and very careful. Reports say Leonard's swords can break off by the hilts if you force them in or if they fall off the shelves and also check the eyes on all the turtles some collectors get cross eyed Turtles!

Glad you decided to pick up those neca turtles! They’re def becoming a lot tougher to find these days! Went to 4 different stores and none of them had the figures! So glad I got them way before hand!
Oh WOW!! The NECA Turtle Figures are so much cheaper in Canada!! The Cheapest I could find them for was £28 (£32 including postage) here in the UK, I think that is about $55 Canadian.
I love the Mega Construx MOTU figs!
They've got great detail for such a small fig.
They go great with the Mega Con. Battle Bones. The pegs on it to attach the figs to don't cause as much wear to them as the full size Battle Bones.

I’m on a comic con high I feel so excited I came from the Bakersfield Comic Con as mentioned on the Big Bang theory today. I dressed up as venom an I found loose figures and awesome trade paperbacks for dirt cheap . I met John Wesley Shipp from Flash he signed my dvds, comics, an a blue flash T-shirt I picked for fan reasons. today was amazing an I wanted to thank you for posting an excelsior video.
The Japanese sushi chef band must have a luck bonus so you could get those beautiful turtle toys in mint condition!
Fun video! Here in Los Angeles they’ve closed down all the Toys ‘R Us’s, which is very sad. Dante and Muffin are so cute! Love the kitty backpack!!!! My bijon Chloe would probably fit in it.

Ahh… the thrill of the hunt! I went out today to 6 different Walgreens to find Clone Commander Obi wan. On my way to pick up a $16 IG-11 Best Buy exclusive, I rolled into a Game Stop an picked up the Purge Stormtrooper. Today was an unicorn day for exclusives. I think I have all the ones I want so far. Now I can focus on adulting.
What method do you use to take the stickers off the box?
I swear, cats have become like that lazy friend/brother who you see do nothing all day, yet other people bend over backwards to do things for and they get praised liked they are going to one day solve cancer or something. I kinda feel bad for dogs who put in like 10x the effort, yet get half the respect.

Laura Legends Bebop, Rocksteady, Slash, Metalhead, and Leatherhead all some time in the near future. Not sure when. I can't find a relese date, all i do know is they are Target exclusives, at least last i heard they were gonna be. The last wave of 8 figures was.
You guys are talking about 2 different lines. The Neca Turtles in the video are from the 1990 movie and so far they've only announced movie versions of Shredder, Splinter and a couple of Foot Clan Soldiers.
The Bebop, Rocksteady, Metalhead and the rest are part of Neca's TMNT cartoon line.
Just Plain Steve we are aware of this. The figures you listed are already available.

I opened mine. All of them. I have the NECA movie, cartoon, and Mirage comics TMNT as well as their TMNT Turtles in Time (video game) Leonardo and 1/4 Raphael. I'm working at completing my 1/4 scale and Turtles in Time sets.
American Amazon has Castle Greyskull on for 129.97. Only downside is 44.00 for shipping and handling. But if you factor in the exchange rate it would be about $230 probably. Save $70 plus whatever your tax is. So like $100. Not sure how long it is on for this price at Amazon.
I preorded the Turtles and they are AMAZING! I also pre-ordered Castle Grayskull before it came out. I paid $240 usd. Pricey, but i couldn't resist. It's Castle Grayskull!

Hmmm, just had an idea. Maybe if you took a piece of black cloth and cut a hole in it to put your camera lens through it would eliminate your reflection in the toy box covers.

If u can find a variable polarized filter for your camera you can adjust it to get rid of reflections, not too expensive either.. heard u mention reflection-frustration before. Love everything u do! Keep em coming!
UA-cam likely pointed me to your channel because I'm an adult toy collector, but what it doesn't know (or does it?!) is that I'm a cat dad before anything else. It's wonderful to see you take Muffin Man out for little hikes to give him some supervised outside time.
So I purchased the set of Ninja turtles when they came out. I am an out-of-box collector so I use the NECA diorama to display a lot of times. Sick out of the box. I think I might still have a review up on my channel

I'm not sure Gamestop knows what a sale is but I bet you could have gotten those Ninja Turtles for a dollar or a dollar fifty off at Game Stop if only you had waited. :( As for the Mega Construx, they are cheaper but not a whole heck-of-a-lot. A Lego Castle Greyskull would probably be $500 American dollars. That's just what they go for. Consider that Lego or Mega Construx has to pay to get the licence to make a toy set, especially a Disney licence, and than you can kinda imagine why a set like Castle Greyskull would cost so much. But who knows, PO Box videos happen all the time, maybe you'll get lucky and get one :)

@@LauraLegends Actually NECA released a set of the old school cartoon Turtles exclusive to Target a few months ago...They came in two packs (Mikey+Foot Soldier, Donny+Krang, Leo+Shredder, Raph+Foot Soldier)....Rocksteady and Bebop are dropping soon, they already dropped in some areas in the past few days. I think they were originally con exclusives, that they re-released to Target.

Awesome. I preordered the second wave of the 90's TMNT from NECA. The one with Splinter, Shredder and the foot soldiers. I ordered two of each foot soldier, nothing wrong with trying to build an army. Also preordered the reissues of the four TMNT from the 1988 line. They are a boxed set over at GameStop. I'm paying 54 bucks, that's with the shipping and what not.
That castle Greyskull set is on sale at Megalopolis right now for $190, but I don't know if they ship to Canada or not.

awesome you got your turtles! word of advice if you ever decide to take them out of packaging michaelangelo's nun chucks where its suppose to be the rope that attaches both handles is made of a pliable wire and it can snap off from the handle (had to glue mine back on) also yeah $299 for the construx grayskull is pretty outrageous to me even though im a motu guy.

They also have a Greyskull Mania ring that just came out that looks pretty cool
i have two GoBots power suit toys still in the box. the one where you put a figure in a suit for an arm, leg and head and they become one giant robot. one had been taken out to look at but neither played with . also have a ton of star wars figures from the newer movies. boxes have moister damage but the figures are all perfect. good for a display piece. Ive got 110 figures and a couple light saber toys and 2 halloween costume masks with cape and mask. where can I sell this stuff quickly? action figures are not really my thing.

The original price was $299 for Castle Grayskull. I got mine for $247 through Amazon but I should have waited because Amazon.ca has it available for $210!!!
Amazon had it on sale recently for 166 US. My brother picked it up. Also you should look into the preorder on tmnt movie shredder and splinter.
