- Today, we dive into a watch that many claim is not just an incredible homage but a standout in its own right! San Martin is celebrated for its top-notch build quality and might just be the finest AliExpress watch brand out there. Let’s explore the SN-0007!
God!!! MAMACOO Who would have thought those gorgeous watches go for that low!!!
@@ChritelleLinger Hi there! Thanks so much for watching…. I appreciate that. If you’ve not yet subscribed I hope you will consider doing so.
Thanks again!

The first version of this watch had capped hands and a great embossed caseback. I think it’s close to 200grams as well. If you ever get a chance to see one, you will be even more impressed.
Awesome quality, it had no right being this good for the price.
I had no idea… now I’m interested and will search for one. That’s great feedback. Thank you for watching. I hope you will consider subscribing.
Let me know if you would like to suggest a watch for review. All the best!

A really informative review, well delivered! San Martin does make great watches and they are just priced so well.
I agree that the sterile case back could be improved.
@@Ramps100 Hello and thank you for reaching out. San Martin is a great watch, and they are only getting better. Thanks for your kind words. I’m looking forward to what is next from them.
I appreciate you watching!

Does the bezel line up? It looks way off, maybe it’s just perspective…
Hey Todd…. Yes Sir it does, sorry if the angle was off a little. I’ll do better next time. lol. Thank you very much for watching, I really do appreciate that.

Unlike some comments, I see absolutely nothing to be gained from SM having a so-called in-house movement. I have countless watches with Seiko movements like the NH34, and they're very reliable, cheap to repair or replace, and in my experience, accurate to within a second or two per day, equal to many, much more expensive movements. San Martin put the money where it matters, into high quality materials and quite outstanding finishing - the things that matter. The whole in-house thing is just pointless in this price range, making watches far more expensive than otherwise necessary. Unless you're into 'high horology' (and stratospheric prices), it is just not worth the bother.
@@M123OCT excellent point. Thanks for bringing that up.

Nice video! SM is the best kept secret in the watch game. Mainly because the watch world turns a blind eye to China. If I were an entry-level Swiss brand (MIdo, Rado, Certina) I would be worried about the trajectory of SM.
I couldn’t agree more. San Martin has positioned themselves for great things. I like their original watches as well. I’m looking forward to what is next from these guys.
Please consider subscribing and thanks so much for watching.
Any suggestions on a watch review?
All the best,

@@mydudewatch I would love to continue the concept and explore the Swiss tax on watches - some microbrands are selling at cost while some of the Swiss get away with 2000% mark ups. Why? Another idea I have been seeing is the demand for sweeping quartz - watchdives has a few vh31 models you can review and people seem to love the concept of a sweeping quartz (best of both worlds)
@@KP-wp5sz excellent, both great ideas. Thank you for that!
I've said for a while SM is a serious movement away from being a Swiss killer. Partner with Seagull for a bespoke st2130, ala ETA elabore' grade, just can't be a real contender with any NH. I will say I have the chronograph version of this watch w the st1901 and it's amazing and not a straight rip of anything as Seiko never made a 62mas chrono.
Hey there! You are making excellent points and what a great idea about the Seagull.
Any suggestions about a watch review you’d like to see?
Thanks for watching and reaching out!

There is a brand that make their own 4 hertz movement with 80 hour and is gorgeous too, great accuracy so far. I've love to see that movement to be sold individually and used for modding or something. Can't remember the brand name. But it's super promising for the next level of these Chinese brands leveling up futher. It was only a few years ago where Pagani was the top brand on aliexpress.
simple fact is most watches, even the almighty Rolex, are primairly machine made. if you can master the mass produced machine process, you're in business and Japan, China, and Korea have all proven to to be champions of quality and efficiency on the assembly line; so we should not be surprised by the rise of San Martin. and they are a welcome addition to the watch scene. thanks for the video.
That is excellent perspective, a great point. I couldn’t agree more.
Thanks for the insight.
