A retired couple sounds like the perfect family for Charlie. They have the time to give him lots of attention.
We will all miss Charlie but I’m glad that Kayla made a decision that involves her family .
Your 💯 percent right about Charlie, plus I'm sure the couple is going to love him very much. No one should be upset about what you do unless they are paying your bills.

I think it’s great. I hated to hear how much he was locked up. I completely understand if you have to keep them safe. Now he will be with a retired couple who can watch him and let him run around. Love to Charlie.
Charley is in a loving home which is far more important. I'd much rather owners realise their home really isn't the best situation for a dog than to keep it and that dog would suffer. I'm sure he will have an amazing life where he is now. (30+ years of working with dogs here) Thank you for putting Charleys needs 1st, even though its hard.
You guys did the right thing I completely understand. I get overwhelmed sometimes too specially if you have children on the way you have a baby now. Yeah that’s yeah it’s over Wyoming and I get it and I understand for Charlotte too. You have a blessed day and God bless you and keep up the good work everybody

Re Charlie totally agree with Kayla’s decision to rehome him.. and love that she was able to gift him to people she knows who will love him and give him the attention he deserves.. that will be impossible to give when the twins arrive. I really don’t understand negative comments about this at all…
Phew I was kinda nervous when I saw the title I thought oh no did charley get sick and pass away. I am glad to hear that it was just about him being rehomed and what a perfect scenario to go to a couple who is retired and able to give him all the time and attention he needs. And with Kayla having twins I just think it is for the best. Thanks for the update I thought it was strange when we were not seeing him in her vlogs and or on here!!
81. I’m glad y’all did what’s best for your family and for Charley. Having a safe, monitored, and available couple seems like this was a healthy decision. It’s so sad and yet I’m glad Charley gets to goto a good home and Kayla can still keep in contact. Praying for Kayla, Aspyn and the two littles on the way 🙏🥰👣🐾
I did my grocery shopping on Friday. I love your nails Tracy & Bryleigh. Aspyn is so stinking adorable love her little laugh & smile 🤍. Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend, & a good start to the week. I think Kayla made a good decision, at least she could possibly still see him and get updates on how Charlie is doing.

I don’t blame Kayla at all. We had to rehome our shih tzu after our son was born for pretty much same reasons. Even the dog we have now at 7 has to be crated when we leave. Everyone has to do what’s best for their family. I’m sure he is as happy as he can be with his new family and how awesome that it’s someone Kayla knows so she can know how he’s doing.

I understand the situation with charley completely. I'm not mad about it. It's not gonna change my outlook on any of yall kayla has to do what's best for her family and charley by rehoming him to a retired couple who like you said can give him the attention he needs. That's awesome in my book most people take their animals to shelters she chose to send him to people who would love him like she always will
I think Kayla made the right decision for Charlie and her family. Sounds like a good fit going to a retired couple. With the twins on the way, her plate is full. We see Caleb in the videos quite a bit. I was just wondering if his family will be able to help with the twins? I am not sure if Caleb's parents are retired or not. Kayla is very organized and will most likely have a good schedule set up. She is lucky to have you so close by. I hope she is at home resting as well as she can with Aspyn. My friend had twins after a difficult pregnancy. She and her husband had no family nearby. They hired a "doula" for a few weeks to help out. It was a blessing for her recovery.

It sounds to me like Kayla had Charley’s best interests at heart, and she did the right thing for Charley and for her family. Sounds like the couple will love on him and give him the best life! I know it had to be a difficult decision for all of you and a heart breaking one for sure, but I feel Kayla did the right thing! ❤️❤️❤️ I look at it this way. Kayla loves Charley enough to let him go and to give him the best possible life for him at this time!

Hi family 5 vlogs really getting alot out of watching your videos charley will be missed but totally understand the decision in regards to charley i will say that it is the best decision for charley and i know it will be hard for Kayla but i am sure she will see charley again. love you all looking forward to the twins arrival Thank you for always putting a smile on my face life is hard and knowing that i can watch your videos helps me get through the tough days

We miss him, but it's OK 👍 y'all made the best decision .. it's gonna be hard when babies are coming , as an aunt who's been struggling with my nephew's it's hard to keep a dog and the babies

I think that rehoming Charlie was a hard decision but for the best for Charlie. I have a Golden Retriever and I was thinking of getting another dog. I’m retired but my hubby still works. My dog has been very healthy but it is still expensive for his annual Lyme/Heartworm scans. His annual exam and vaccinations. My dog has a sensitive stomach. The prescription dog food is $95 2x month. Then you have flea/tick prevention. Grooming fees etc. It is expensive to have a pet! Kayla will have her life full with three babies plus the cost for kids! This couple can give Charlie a lot of attention and be able to afford his expenses easier! It is hard to rehome a pet but Kayla made a wise decision.

Bless kayla, it was a hard decision for her, i feel its the right one, its hard with 1 baby let alone 3. Its lovely that charlie has gone to an older couple they will adore him. Sending kayla lots of love ❤️ i know she'll miss him as u all will. ❤❤❤

I totally get it. It's better for him in the long run. It's not like ypu got him and then just gave him away. You got him a new and good home. You have to do what's best for you not what's best for someone else who doesn't have to deal with things. ❤

They only showed her twice and both times she was inside not inside the rink or outside. I’m sure it wasn’t freezing in there. Babies can overheat.

It’s so hard to make a decision to rehome a doggy. We had to make that choice last year as well. So hard and heartbreaking. ❤️ Way easier for outsiders to make a judgement. It was obvious ya’ll loved him. ❤️

I have a very poorly Labrador at the moment she’s going on 16 this year 🥹she’s got arthritis and she’s not doing great we’re taking her to our vet on 17th not looking good 🥹sorry I’m upset about it obviously 🥹🥹
Sorry about your dog. But sadly, at that age, they began to suffer the ravages of old age. Keep him comfortable for now. I know they sell those temperpedic beds for dogs with arthritis. I think it's supposed to ease the pressure on their joints. 🙏

I think its good that she rehomed him with people that can give him time and attention he needs, bet he will be spoilt rotten. After all some people just abandon their dogs which is cruel, but kayla cared about charlie to get him a good home. Im sure she will be kept updated about him too. 😊

❤ Charlie,he is better off with people who has the time to love him. It will bring the older couple joy, and Charlie will be happier in the long run. Even tho it hurts, she did the best thing for everyone involved. I have had to do this in the past, as I cried my eyes out, I knew I was doing the right thing. ❤

Thanks for doing an update on Charlie. I was wondering myself how he’s been doing & where’s he been. Completely understandable why Kayla would rehome him with having one baby & now twins on the way. I’m sure that he will do just fine in his new home.

Anyone fussing about Charlie's rehoming are idealists who haven't ever actually tried to home a difficult dog. Kayla didn't surrender him to a shelter, she rehomed him with people she already knows and trusts and, as a result, can still get updates on him, I'm sure. Beyond that, she's about to have three very young children who obviously need to be her priority. As dogs age, their needs increase, their COSTS increase... My mother's kelpie has cost her in excess of AUD$20,000 for knee reconstructions. Sentimentality means nothing when it's not in the best interest of the people or the animal and it sounds like Kayla made a very hard, but very necessary choice, for Charlie as much as herself and her family.

I think you made a very good decision rehoming Charley i have a little Yorky mix and I thought about getting another dog but she is a one person dog she doesn’t even like to be around other dogs and with me being 50 we are meant for each other
It was the best decision for Charlie he is going to be the center of attention. And Kayla won't have to worry about Charlie and the babies. Kayla made the decision for her and Charlie

Same here we had freezing rain snow then more freezing rain and I'm sick with sinus with possible infection I've been taking my meds and now my poor left ear is stopped up I really don't want to go to the doctor cause the germ factory I rather try my best for my ear
Hi I am not upset as long as Charlie has a loving new family that’s all that matters 😊and think about it she could’ve put the dog in a shelter but thank goodness some nice people offered to take the dog

You did what was best for Charlie I know if you could have you would have tooken him back into your house but Charlie knows how much you loved him and your doing what’s best for him always ask for photos and maybe if you become friends with the couple you can visit

Charlie and Charlotte probably got the same litter syndrome attitude even though they aren't biological.. they seemed like they were the type to team up on the alphas. Even though they are small they are mighty!

I know rehome family dog is very hard I had to my dog she was very attached to me when I moved I had rehome her I didn’t want to rehome her but with me working all time she was locked up almost all day
No bodies business about Charlie. Some people need to worry more about what is going on under their own roof.🙏❣
I understand that Charlie is gone to other family’s I know it hard decision to make but taking care of 3 kids plus a dog is going to bi big hand full mybe down the road they might think about getting a pet right now she got to take care her family

Charlie will be way better off with the older couple who has time to play with him and give him all the attention that he needs. Tell Kayla for me that that was very unselfish of her to do what she thought was best for him.
My dog does that too, it's just a dog thing. But agree he needed to go to somewhere who had more time for him.
