@@socalecos550all B58 cars have potential, the engine makes 500 rwhp/600 lbft with a downpipe, flex sensor, and TU pump (if needed)

A z06 (620wHP) should not have had a problem against a stock turbo Supra (500'ish wHP)
Mid engine launch, much more HP.
There is a nearly 300lb weight difference but z06 probably should have won.

They look very aerodynamic,
They have good HP numbers,
They have weight over the rear tires,
They have a great DCT.
It's has to be related to the lack of torque the engine has being a high revver...
I can't think of any other reason besides driver incompetence.
I keep telling myself, these C8's are going to be CRAZY fast soon, but we're just not seeing it yet.
