    Sir I’m experiencing pain at the occipital region and sometimes the shock sensation can be radiating upwards from the occipital region when I stretch my neck and I also feel tightness of sternocleidomastoid and trapezius what could be the best home program for this ?

    • @likith7175
      @likith7175 3 роки тому +1

      And sir what is the differential diagnosis for the cervicogenic pain and pain due to occipital neuralgia?

    Great techniques and indeed great way of teaching.
    But one question here : In forearm traction technique while rotating the forearm from supination to pronation , should therapist keep his /her forearm exposed , as in without sleeve to have a better grip ? How to ensure that the C1- C2 separation is obtained ? Because if we give full body traction without achieving this it can increase C 1 C2 longitudinal pressure

    • @PhysioClassroom
      @PhysioClassroom  4 роки тому

      Retracting the chin prior to forearm traction can ensure maximum separation of c1-c2 joint.
      Keeping forearm exposed is better.
      Maintaining a neutral alignment of the head and neck ensures greater separation of upper cervical joints.
