Easy DIY Devo Energy Dome Under $5

If you are looking for a fun 80ies costume or you just really love Devo here is a great way to recreate the energy dome! The materials I used will be listed below. I cut my shapes out free hand, but if you use a foam circle or measuring rulers the appearance can be fined tuned!
Materials:
Two red poster boards
Tape
Ruler
Personal hat as a size reference
Ruler
Bobby pins
Optional apple red inside spray paint - "I took the hat outdoors to spray it."

Once the energy dome is complete grab a guitar (I used my Wii guitar hero controller - link above), or any other instrument from the Whip It video. To secure the dome to your head you may need to affix a hair pin, wig clips, or cut a whole in the bottom to balance it.
*(caution: test all scenarios (clips/paint/glue) before wearing the dome to ensure comfort and no reactions)

Note: You don't have to use the spray paint but if you do the total price should be under $10 most of the items I already had at home :)
