Here's my view of the Ricegum thing, that I feel people aren't grasping or address as much:
Yes. Ricegum should not have escalated the situation. Unacceptable.
However, someone swatting a phone out of their face and breaking it is in no way as bad as a woman falsely claiming to millions of people that a man HIT her.
She knew exactly what she was doing when saying that and its fucking disgusting and way worse imo. The difference between these 2 actions are intent. Ricegum was not trying to hurt anyone. He just got way too aggro with her phone, again unacceptable. But Gabbie, absolutely knew that her being a woman getting hit by a man would absolutely cause a stir and make Ricegum look like a horrible monster. She intended to hurt him and his image. And that's what she should've been criticized for specifically, and I feel like we didnt see that. It seemed like people didnt really understand the ramifications of making such an accusation.

true. I mean Gabbie seems to over react, like I said she sees everything in black and white so when someone does something bad to her it’s the worst.

@@ChronicallyDisillusioned yeah. It's just when you say something like that when it's not true, you know what you're doing. Few thing are worse than woman beaters in the eyes of the public. No rational person would say a man HIT them when they just got their phone snatched away. And when you hear a woman say, he just hit me, your mind immediately goes to a man smacking a woman in the face. Deplorable.

@@ChronicallyDisillusioned I think it was more than just an overreaction. Because an overreaction to something happening to you is usually like, just for you and how it made you feel. This seemd more calculated than that. Like she purposefully made it look like she maliciously hurt her. I personally could see it in her face in the initial snap. She said it very matter of fact with the raised eyebrows as she said the word hit. I think she knew personally she was fine, but she got personally slighted, and Ricegum had to pay. I hope I'm making sense lol.

I have major depressive disorder and severe adhd. I also mix number sequences up no matter how they’re presented. Not from anything besides the adhd though. I read VERY quickly and numbers don’t have words in my head? Idk if that makes any sense 😩😂 like I read words and see their definition in my head, but numbers don’t actually exist to my brain so I jump from reading forward to backward. Our mental health issues will always overlap. But you will never be allowed to excuse your behavior while you are fully coherent and “stable”. Idk where I was going with this? But thank you for the videos hun!!! I’m so glad I found your channel!!

Ok gonna be honest. If you start on me and don’t let up then sit on a couch next to me within my 3 foot of personal space after harassing me to rap battle and I clearly tell you no. Then be glad only thing that happened is your phone. And I’m not a rice gum fan. Matter of fact watched one video of his during this time and thought it was def not my thing. But annoying people doesn’t involve you getting in my 3 foot of personal space. That is my safety buffer and I will feel threatened if anyone invaded it. So Gabbie maybe should think about that. She doesn’t know that boys history or his overall attitude. He could be a very volatile person. She is not the beginning and end of everything.

    • @symanthagattis2933
      @symanthagattis2933 3 роки тому +1

Thank you so much for saying this. Why is everybody forgetting Gabbie was the initial aggressor and that she went on to lie about what happened? Like multiple times? First she said he hit her, then he hit her and pinned her down and scratched her chest/shoulder, then he hit her, pinned her, scratched her and threw her phone then it turns out...he just smashed her phone?
Like her lies were heavy, damning and almost bordering on SA from the way she describes it (pinning her down and scratching that area in particular? That certainly can make a mind jump places) but no she's 100% the victim now?

    • @ChronicallyDisillusioned

@@symanthagattis2933 I mean yes she did start it but again I feel that doesn’t warrant him smashing her phone. But I can also see your guys prospectives on this, And I don’t think it’s a wrong to have its just about where you draw your line.

@@ChronicallyDisillusioned the line is always drawn at the word NO. When I say NO that doesn’t mean to sit beside almost touching me and then continuing to ask me to do something I don’t want to do. Also I’m sorry and yes this may be hindsight but she doesn’t seem to understand that people do not exist for her battering and harassing pleasure. When a woman says NO it is NO and when you go to self protection classes the things they teach us to do to protect ourselves is far worse than breaking a phone. They teach us to go for the eyes and the groin. After saying no. So I can only conclude his no means nothing and he should just take it or remove himself from situation. But as women we get upset when we are told to not put ourselves in harms way. That we have the right to say no. Well so do men. I believe his goal was to get her to stop harassing and mentally abusing him. She jeered at him sat right next to him and didn’t stop even though his body language was one of stress. And his verbal response was NO. NO IS NO Man or woman NO is NO.

Just personal experience: bipolar and adhd are similar. I got diagnosed bipolar but went to a different psych that ran more checklists and diagnosed adhd instead. I also have a thyroid issue and other autoimmune diseases, so I think the physical health symptoms get confused as mental health.

By similar I mean there are similar checklists and over laps and a smattering of similar symptoms.

Yea but all thyroid issues can cause manic depression symptoms it’s weird how much that little shit controls.
I mean I was diagnosed with adhd and saw a therapist since I was really young so seeing the difference was really clear that it was manic not just mood shifting because of disinterest.
Edit: I also feel with Gabbie the fact that she’s acting weird even on meds, at first I thought she was taking to many but she was also acting the same off of meds so like I’m just beyond confused. It feels like she just has a lot going on and is dodging actually getting help.
