There was tailors in Woolwich South London called Gordon's and in the 60s it was always busy on a Sat morning with all us young guy getting measured up for the latest style suits .Usually with the girl friends giving their input .I think I had about 5 suits back then .Was always smart.
We who grew up in the thirties had.no childhood , we had to grow up fast.but it was even worst for our parents,the poverty was saddling . We saw this and realised what they went through .which gave us empathy and an insight into humane nature. They were the salt of the earth. And no one can get any better than that and do not let any one fool you into thinking different .
