Singer/songwriter Brett Dennen dropped by Google's Mountain View office for a live performance and discussion of his music and his new venture into winemaking.
Dennen's five albums have found critical acclaim, and his music has been featured on television, including NBC's About a Boy (theme song) and Parenthood.

This guy is just a miracle of a man, I went to one of his concerts two years ago and he even let me sing a part of one of his songs :) I don't like to idolize stars but this guy is worthy of all the praise he gets, what a wonderfull soul!

Do all young singers these days have speech impediments? Just sing your song without all the wierd overphrasing. Was thinking about seeing Jason Wraz with this guy and I don't know if I can deal with this.

I've seen Brett Dennen three times live and Jason Mraz twice. Both are great performers (Mraz's voice is incredible live!).... so I recommend seeing them. Even if you find Brett to be mediocre, Jason Mraz live is something that should never be passed up! I actually just saw him a couple months ago-- it was an amazing show. Also, Brett's solo acoustic stuff, like this video, is much less captivating than when he plays with his band.
