Went from respected and appreciated to a useless piece of shit fast…but I just signed papers with my wife ( she decided I was still a good guy and helped my ass back up) and I am moving in next week. My kids will be there. New job lined up. I did all this sober too mind you. I wasn’t drinking or using. I was depressed. I have some rather severe mental health issues sometimes. When I fall into the dark…the dark takes me… Keep up hope brothers and sisters. Life gets better…
This literally looked like the room I trapped myself inside and hid from myself from the world the last few months and hid my feelings, hid my pain....than we took down a wall and made the room larger and now has a beautiful window 😊...pain is still strong and sorrow is deep...till have times where I don't want to see tomorrow, but when I look up and out the window I feel little more strength ❤ This song and video truly hits me. My guitars and journals is what I drown myself in.

She wouldn't let me 😢 But nothing can ever take away from the fact that I was the first person on earth that he wanted to share his sobriety with. 💜 Go make those kiddos proud dad! 🙏🏻
