I just finished this over the weekend, so I’m finally able to watch this. And you have me crying AGAIN!!! I loved the 13 and Abraxos losing his mate just tore my heart out. You are not alone at all!! I have a friend that finished the book a few days after the release and she got all my crazy messages crying, laughing and shouting. And I loved the Rhys and Feyre scene too. But the 13 was the worst.... and the flowers ❤️❤️❤️
“ Gondor calls for aid”. Omg, this was me reading that part. I cried over Abraxos scene and Gavriels death. Poor Elena. 😢 Lorcan and Elides proposal 🥰 Rowan’s wyrdkeys on Aelins tattoo 😬. Manon needs her own book.
coming to your review party 5 years late but your review was amazing! I just finished this book yesterday... OMG what a sagaaa! I loved your nerd references btw :)
I felt really sad for Abraxos and was so glad he survived! I was a bit confused between all the different groups because it was so long since I finished the previous book. I liked how she wrapped things up in the end but never really understood the wrdkeys. I too loved Manon's story and also Yrene, Elide and Lysandra. I like Aelin and Rowan together too but didn't get why she lost her fire power and couldn't rebuild it like she did before. Some things made no sense to me. That's why I gave this one 4 out of 5 stars.
I loved this book even though it partly destroyed me. I agree that Dorian had the most growth and by the end I was really invested in him and what would happen to him. The Aedion/Lysandra thing pissed me off as well and I was fully prepared that they weren’t going to end up together, that they couldn’t come back from that because he did push it really far. OMG THE FEYSAND MOMENT WAS EVERRRRRRTHINGGGG!!!!!!! I WAS JUST LIKE YES RHYS THANK YOU RHYS!!!! Also we definitely need a novella to get the happy endings for everyone and see how the world turns out!
Agreed about Manon. She was the reason I started reading this series (and I had to wait til HoF for her to even be introduced!) and her losing her 12 witches just crushed me 💔
Definitely all over the place 😂. I loved this book! It was such a fitting end to the series. I love the narrator! I would start reading the book but found myself wanting to hear the narrator. So phenomenal! Yes to girl power when Aelin went to walk thru Orynth after being crowned and she brought all the females up front to walk beside her!
I really loved it. I have always been a huge fangirl of Dorian, but in this book he made me so proud. I did get upset with him a little at the beginning of this book and his thought process. So I was super happy when his thought process started to change. And I was also disappointed in regards to what you were saying about Nox. And I cried so much. I am actually going to start reread this series again this weekend. I am going to be reading a book a month. With someother individuals, that are on UA-cam. They already started but I am waiting on my physical copy of Throne of glass, that is going to be here Tomorrow. I want to TAB my experience with the first 4, since I didn't have physical copies of them, last time around. I am getting the special edition, throne of glass one, its going to get here tomorrow, from Barnes and noble. And I already have books 2-4, from, book depository. I will also be getting books 5 and 1 from book depository soon. Oh I also have KOA, from them as well. Which is so exciting. I really loved your review and it was a lot shorter than my review. And mine was really all over the place. I gave it definitely 5 stars. I still think books 3 and 4, are my favorites, in the series though. Oh also Manon, I actually couldn't stand her until towards the end of QOS, but now she's my favorite character besides Dorian. And I really love Irene, (I know I am spelling her name wrong,) but Chaol's Signify other.
YAS ALL OF THIS 👏👏👏 So bummed about how the Lock played out and the Gods were just like peace out. Hated that we didnt get Manon going to the Wastes, Elide and Lorcan going to Perranth, and Dorian Chaol Yrene going to Rifthold. Glad you mentioned that there is the possibility of those being told in the world book, but damn we need something!
Sarah j maas needs to do a Official crossover Between a court of thorns and roses series and the throne of glass series. Could be the villain of the story have the two remaining Valg Kings and their Armys. Valg Kings and their Armys They could managed to get through into the realm of a court of thorns and roses series. And make the crossover with throne of glass series Heroes by helping a court of thorns and roses series characters killing the valg kings and their Armys even make the human queens it to valg puppets/slaves. And Feyre could use the the Cauldron to win and get a few of the beloved from both series characters become valg puppets/slaves. And kill some beloved characters off just for the sake of it. PLEASE COMMENT BELOW IF YOU LIKE THE IDEA OR NOT
Great review. I loved this series so much but I gave this one 3 stars. I definitely was bored to death for 50% of this book. So many repetitive war scenes and other boring scenes. There were a lot of amazing, great scenes too of course. And what was the point of bringing back Nox?? He didn't even get to see Aelin or even talk to her. Dorian and Yrene were my favorites in KOA. Most of Manons scenes bored me a lot too and I really like her usually. the death of the 13 destroyed me. Also, Gavriels death was so sudden and out of nowhere and he was so pure. I can't believe she killed him off. Ughhh! Also yeah a lot of things were like taken DIRECTLY from LOTR like she hoped no one would notice... Idk! I was disappointed with this book like I was with ACOWAR
Also. nesryns pov of the coronation ball was not the POV I was wanting 😆, sorry girl. Not enough info for me! And I wanted to see Manon meeting Yrene/re meeting Chaol instead of just having it casually mentioned after the fact
I think Manon's story wasn't closed out fully because we'll be getting more books on the witches and Dorian. Just a feeling. Hopeful feeling.🤗

I marked where the worlds crossed over too! I was screaming and crying so much my son had to check on me lol

I’m totally crying as you’re talking about the 13!

Ed D none of us prioritize anything else 😂
@@dbookdragon Makes sense! 😊
It was the only book I read that week. I put my audiobook and ebook aside :-)
