I remember fighting the alien threat back in high school. Seeing your friends and allies die one after the other. Never knowing who to trust of where to turn. Always been a fan of the books and this show made it seem like we could actually win. There only a few of us left but I still play this song when I train. We'll pull this off.
It's a long series to make, though you've got some major arks (Aximili Esgaroth Isthil discovering human food, Tobias getting his goddamned legs back, Rachel biting it) and some minor things ( the Elimmist's war with Cryak, the internal Yeerk conflict with the Vissers, CASSIE MOVING ON BEFORE JAKE COULD GODDAMNIT RAM THE BLADESHIP).
I wouldn't mind if they aged them up to high school junior and senior age: the way the characters were written, they acted and thought like older teens anyway.
... Hmm... new song, with notes of this song hidden within. Because I definitely think this song captures the tone of Animorphs better than anything else the TV show put out.
2024. I grew up reading the books and even had obtained the rare book that selected me to become part of the Animorphs. This song is our anthem and I will use my morphing power to help people escape the clutches of Visser Three.
I had every single book. Even mega and alternamorphs. I was OBSESSED man. One day I loaded my backpack with every book and went to school to show off to the cool kids hahaha....the 90s...
Time flies huh? I was born in early 01. I’ll be going into my senior year next year. When I was a freshmen I didn’t really look at the day I graduate very realistically, and I still don’t. I still feel like I have a couple more years, but I don’t. I’ll be an ADULT next year. As soon as you hit freshmen year, time pretty much moves at 2x the speed. It’s unbelievable how fast time moves as you get older...
It made me watch the clock constantly just so I wouldn't miss it. Snick had it for a while. Made Saturday nights so much more epic than they were before! Allen Strange and Alex Mack were ok, but nowhere near the level of Animorphs!
I used to watch this as a little kid, never read the books but i used to pretend to turn into different amimals and pretend i was defeating the evil aliens 👽 right along with them! Tobias was my favorite character!

As a HUGE fan of the books who thought the show was “eh”…this song is absolutely the most fitting song I can think of for the series. Absolutely fantastic. I hope that in some point in the future some competent writers will adapt this series in a way that is completely mind blowing.
The books are insanely deeper than what the show gave us. So many tough decisions are made time and time again and there are real risks if they fail. I recommend them.
Jesus Benavides Because it would be way too complex to have an ending of any kind. Just the first book alone would be more than enough material for a single movie. A rebooted tv series, geared towards an older audience, would be better. It would have to be a lot darker than the first series, but it could work.
I'm 22 now. The first time I read my first book was when I was around the ages of 12-13. Man, I miss those days of going into the school library and just losing myself to the world of helping the Animorphs save the human race one rescue at a time.
I grew up watching Animorphs on Tv Nickelodeon back in the 90s and it was awesome before they cancel it during its second season's few episodes. My big bro and I always go back but for me, after watching the show at the young age. I read all the books and I mean all 54 books and to me its action-packed and a lot of fun. My favorite characters is Jake, Rachel, Cassie, Marco, Tobias, and Ax. And yeah Visser Three and Visser One in both the show and the books. Animorphs will always be my childhood and become my good to to look back at the episodes and favorite moments too. Its an awesome tv series and book series. I thank K. A. Applegate for the wild animal ride of good vs evil. Thank you very much.
I remember reading the book from Moises back in 4th grade. Eventually 5/6th grade hit and I found the series on Netflix and watched it all. “No turning back no backing down. No where to run no solid ground”. I remember when Jake got turned and then his brother. I miss this show a lot These were the times. 12/21/19 12:52am
That's more along the first part. Being unable to trust literally anyone besides each other? That's a terrifying position to be in. I felt the part you're referring is more like Elfangor entrusting the fight to the kids before he tied.
Thanks! I loved the show when I was a kid and the theme was always one of my favorite parts. Years and years later the theme was still somewhat in my head, so I chose to figure out how to extend it. Luckily the ending theme sounded similar, but it was really hard to find a decent version of it.
This song is so fitting for the Animorphs. It actually helped to inspire me to write my own Animorphs fanfiction about a Yeerk that is abnormally kind and gentle, even more so than Aftran was, and how this good Yeerk hates what her people have become and actively helps the Animorphs from the shadows to resist the invasion.
It be awesome of this show got a remake, bigger budget and such....it absolutely need this theme song brought back even just having it play in the background during an episode.

Back when Nickelodeon didn’t air shit. Good times.
I remember this show being abysmal in comparison to the books and with a budget that could not ever hope to do any justice to the series.
That's not fair.
Nickelodeon did a fair job with the TMNT.
