A Walk Up Pilot Knob

One of the blessings of getting to wander Kentucky is being able to walk in the footsteps of great men like Daniel Boone. My friends and I hiked up to the summit of Pilot Knob this week to take in the breathtaking beauty of the Bluegrass nearly the same as when Boone himself stood here to behold the majesty of Kentucky!

You’ve nailed it in this video Brother! Most people don’t understand that a person can’t understand history just by reading it; you have to touch it, hear it, taste it, smell it, gaze at it. You have to SENSE history to understand it! I can see that you get that. Thanks for the great video.

Hiked up it for the first time last August and built a cup of coffee on my backpack stove. Glorious view. Camped at Blue Licks SP, and soaked up the early settler ambiance. Great video and drone work!
